Definitely not trying to speak for Eric, but imo he isn’t breathing “hard”. The pace of his breathing is completely normal and gentle. By the sound of it, I’m pretty sure (medical degree and background) that he has a deviated septum or septal perforation. I can even tell when he’s speaking sometimes. That’s why you hear a slight whistling nasal sound, but he isn’t breathing “hard” or fast. He’s breathing slowly and relaxed. My observation. It didn’t interfere with the episode at all. It isn’t that serious.😂 I like the podcast episodes so far 💪🏼💪🏼

Saying cardio is over rated while wheezing like a buffalo is devious work.

Also I get that Sam’s so popular but he went two for two and got his pro card with no coach at like 22 years old. Imagine doing that and having four big influencers be like “meh”

Going to failure is fine for me if i do exercise at home. Since i can sleep at the floor asap for quick recovery.

I find it hard to do elsewhere since i get sleepy.

Sam sulek has 15-17lbs to work with, because he was still holding about 5lbs of fat before being truly shredded. So if he gets 5lbs leaner than his previous showing. he has 15lbs to work with. Also, who knows, he might be able to stretch out his spine to get that extra inch since he does lots of heavy spine loading exercises.

I've changed up my workout recently just to try and shock the muscles. I went from doing a similar workout as Greg to focusing on 2 muscle groups. The hardest part thus far is finding that sweet spot to failure. A couple weeks in and I'm still hitting the body fatigue point and it's preventing me from hitting specific muscle failure properly. At 54 and depending on my work day, it's been hard to dial in, cheers.

I’m mainly impressed how fast Sam got his pro card , most guys it takes multiple shows and years of trying to get it. I also agree I don’t think he will make it to Olympia level , but hey who knows.

when I miss a cardio session I get really winded during squats and deadlifts.
