Did any female musician write, sing or cover a song when she knew she was dying?
@donotwantahandle1111 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Note to songwriters: Always have a sign off song!

What about Bob Marley 😮😅
@MarleyBu November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Johnny Cash sang Hurt beautifully. Love it.

Johnny Cash
@lizhunter-smith878 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Luke Kelly - The Night Visiting Song. He performed it live very shortly before he died of brain cancer. A really moving performance. You can hear Ronnie Drew say, "Well done, Luke", as the song ends.
@christinabrown8399 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
That picture was NOT Johnny Cash’s wife, it was his MOTHER. His WIFE was still alive and in the video.
@michaelhuss5296 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
You missed Ronnie James Dio's "This Is Your Life"
@ORVONTON64 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
What about, " Who Wants to Live Forever"??
@ReverseDK17 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Another very powerful last song from an artist is: The Last Emperor Feat. Poetic & Esthero - One Life
Poetic literally tells you the story of how his reactions to getting liver cancer was, how it was going to the hospital and afterwards knowing that his days were numbered. Very powerful lyrics

Wasn't Jonny Cash's wife a pic of his late mother his wife June was on the stairs. In a cruel twist of fate, he knew he was dying and didnt want to leave his wife alone then she went in for a routine op and died on the table I don't know for sure but he didn't last very long after June passed RIP to both.

George Harrison was, unknowingly on his part, my mentor since I first saw the Beatles on TV in 1964. I was 7, and he inspired me to pick up a guitar not long after and, at 68, I still love playing and singing more than anything else. George's death hit me as if I lost a close friend, although I never met him. Stuck Inside A Cloud, Looking For My Life, and Run So Far still touch me as they did when Brainwashed was first released. I wish I could have told him of the impact he had on my life.

RIP Jimmy “The Rev” Sullivan. Hearing the song Fiction
@MyDeusX November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
David Bowie, Johnny Cash and Freddie Mercury still hurt.
@iUsedToBeAMusician November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Linkin Park, One More Light.
Chester knew he was planning to kill himself.
Not a natural cause, but still.
@RHCPLiveinLEGO November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
The Show Must Go On should be on the list
@TheitalianRockstar November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am

@wmcruzcarrollsr.5727 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
HURT
@IzayoiArwena November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Why isnt mother love number one?! And where is to live is to die by Metallica? The only one written by Cliff And he died in a bus accident. Worth mentioning. This needs an update. And a prophetic song "Nothing can last forever", Polish one by Anna Jantar, its her last song ever, died in plane accident
@I-am-insane-bro November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Not including one more light is kind of a crime
@andreadelcorvo6890 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Mother love has one line that spells "i long for peace before i die" and everytime i hear it it gives me chills.
@Rebeccanotprovided November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
You’re talking about people dying you couldn’t have reported with a little more calm it’s not a lighthearted thing
@DeltonDcw November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
9:02 to 10:19 watch it
@sylviadiaz5494 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Glen Campbell he died the same way as my dad did the day before and they also shared the same name Glen my Dad loved singing his songs I played the song for my dad the day before he passed away from Alzheimer's
@DonLoco3 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
The cover of "Hurt" by Johnny Cash is the greatest one I have ever heard. Even Trent said it was no longer his song, it had become Johnny's. All these years later it still brings goosebumps all over when I hear it. That for me will always be number 1.
@briannaaaron6804 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
I know he originally recorded the song for a movie years prior, but Toby Keith's final performance of "Don't Let The Old Man In" hits hard.
You could tell as he sang it that he was essentially saying goodbye.
@pattinsonnism November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
it was so weird for me when Bowie passed, i was always on his instagram waiting for the upcoming album updates, listened to it when it came out on his bday, and then 2 days later my mom wakes me up to say that he was gone, i said "but he just released an album..."
@theCinemaHaus November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Half of these are tracks made well before the singer knew they were ill. Click baity title.
@withintheshyness November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
I’m shocked Linkin Park’s some More Light isn’t here!
@seanmccormick3270 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
The Glan Campbell song I'm Not Gonna Miss You is not supposed to be comical... it's brutally honest... when you have dementia one of the cruelest thing is for the family... they remember how their loved one was, but their loved one can't remember anyone...
@venomslair137 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
The whole Innuendo album is one of many reasons I admire Freddie Mercury.

Good thing he met Bowie somewhere in heaven.
@jasonholbrook2019 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
I'd say the show must go on and Who wants to live forever also might refer to Freddie coming to terms with his own mortality.
@nicholassmith6019 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
How is 'Don't let the old man in' by Toby Keith not on this list??
@mikesullivan9554 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
How about "Clouds" by Zach Sobiech?
@KingAlone516 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Forgot Minnie Ripperton "Back Down Memory Lane", and she shot the video a week before she passed.
@magick333 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
naya rivera singing if i die young on glee before dying.
@jacquelineklinges November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
I feel like one of them should be Elvis Presley and his covers of either "Unchained Melody" or "My Way" which he sang both at his last concert two months before he died, and the way he sang them, especially "Unchained Melody" being the last song in the concert, the lyrics “Godspeed your love to me” and “I’ll be coming home, wait for me”, it’s like he just knew he was gonna die 😢😢
@ItsJustLisa November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
This list hits right in the feels. Damn onion ninjas.
@jeremyn6825 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
We're all dying. All will go the way of the world until Jesus Christ comes for his church.
@Amaruforlife November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Tupac Shakur
I AIN'T MAD AT U.
GOD BLESS THE DEAD

Should've been in the list.
@spaminacan4u November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
The Show Must Go On was the one that hit and still does. I remember Freddie Mercury looking so fraile and the stories of how he pushed through the recording sessions. Legend for sure
@amonrodriguez3518 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
I love the Johnny cash . His daughter says “it’s like you’re saying goodbye!?” And he replies “I am”
@stephanieyounker7100 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
What about Toby Keith "Don't Let the Old Man In"
@gmarie3082 November 21, 2024 - 7:03 am
Minnie Riperton’s “Back Down Memory Lane” should have been at least an honorable mention
