I didn’t know this was possible and it opens up so many amazing possibilities. The Football Manager match engine is editable! The new edits coming out of the Chinese community have FM24 feeling like a new game in some ways, it’s helping to deal with the withdrawal. The links be right below my dude.

Of course, SI intentionally doesn't make good match engine to keep players indefinitely waiting and keep paying every year.

when a bunch of funs makes the game must better than years of professional dev coding... no wonder why FM25 canceled and I am not sure what to expect anymore from that company..

I thought the match engine was simply a visual representation of a simulated game - So if you play the game in 2D or commentary only it would be the exact same result as if you watched the whole thing in 3D? So surely this mod just changes the visuals and not how the players actually perform

Okay, I was watching other clips from creators and their footage looked massively improved, smoother, and almost Fifa-esque. Your video looks more like what I'm experiencing- slightly smoother animations and some unique "moments' but I would have been hard-pressed to spot the difference if someone switched the simatch.fwf file without telling me.

I tried to play with team from Latvia and the engine help to understand that the players was shit, I mean it's a good thing. I mean let's say you have best dlp in the vanarama, previous engine made him look like Tony Kross compared to the league. Now he is best in the league, but still shit and that's how it should be 😅😅😅

i dont see a difference unless something didint load correctly i just dont see a difference in the match engine at all, i have the updated transfers and replaced the old simmatch file whatever its called and just dont see a difference, is everyone just d***hopping like usual?

FM Tweak is the best ME mod out there and is way more advanced than this and the Korean version. cant wait for zealands reaction to it lol

Does this improve the opponent AI at all? I still have not seen any answers to the multi-generational issue of the opponent AI not being able to deal with a press. 4-2-3-1 with players of ANY quality level just steamrolls every team no matter the level.

I think this highlights just how mid FM24 was. I heard people saying they weren't too disappointed about the cancellation FM25 because FM24 was 'the best version of FM'. FM24 had great new features like new recruitment system and agents, but the gameplay was quite poor imo. And the fact that 1 person could look at the gamefiles and tweak something about the engine to make it tangibly better in the week and a half since the announcement of FM25 being cancelled is damning to the team responsible for tuning the match engine

Been playing the 2nd version chinese one also and im feeling very refreshed. Gives it a little more of a polish up on match engine. Yet to see any downs to this engine. Anyone tried the korean one?

I helped beta test in 2011 - Tweaking the 3D Match Engine can not change the outcome of games or increase the number of goals etc... The race is run before kick off

I literally start tweaking cause my fm folder just doesn't have any .fmf files anywhere. Collected the game from Epic Games. I wish I could play with this engine

Has dribbling changed at all? Dribbling is absolutely useless in the main game and even the 20 rated dribblers only managed to dribble wide with the ball.

drag and drop file is good. last time I downloaded an exe recommended by zealand my computer shit the bed until I uninstalled it. some facepack exe from 3-4 years ago. like 90% sure i was getting mined.
