Spot on review. Love the game myself after few years at it. Looks like you have the same boat and loadout I do as well except I passed on the rockets for more ammo. But I have Twin 20 in both turrets but only man one of them like you do. Great all purpose loadout. Those homing torpedoes leave something to be desired and I'll never forget attacking the first seaplane tender I ever saw. That thing ate 8 torpedoes from multiple runs as It very handily sailed right by one of my bases so I only had to dip out and back to keep up the pressure on the convoy. Other tenders since have gone down after as little as one torpedo so don't know what happened there.

In the 1940's my grandfather was stationed in the Philippines. His job? To kill Japanese airplane pilots. Interesting how now it's a video game we can play. My grandfather never even spoke of the horrible things that where done in the name of "Freedom". I'll pass on this game in respect of my late grandfather

Looks cool but if I'm buying a Microprose game then I want it in a box with a HUGE manual. Digital only is a hard pass, even for my favourite devs of the late 80's and early 90's. If they did a physical release I'd buy it day one!
