I only played the first Assassin Creed game. I feel like that was a good decision. If I’d played the game that gave everyone hope that the series would be amazing I would be in the same cycle of disappointment as I ended up with waiting for Silent Hill to get good again

Yasuke - We Wuz Hatamotos and Sheeeet; seriously Since Assassin's Creed Black Flag, they edulcorated the formulae to be a Corporate copy/paste of fetchquests and shit gameplay design, besides a few OH WAW battle moments... and forgettable storylines (they just add a pet, a boat, a town making feature, and then a Roguelike gamemode in the Valhalla one).

I jumped on Ghost of Tsushima train late because on paper, it just sounds like an AC game in Japan. And I was(still am?) done with AC games. It was on sale so I played it. And It is, an AC game but done well. Map was huge, but not repetitive and grindy as AC. Gameplay wasn't new but improved from other games. You do not need to reinvent the wheel, just improve it. The narrative was a 10 as well.

The only mildly interesting thing I have seen in this game was that bloody execution thing, but that turned out to be one animation that is repeated over and over, so do that 2 times and its old, everything else looks boring af

It's pretty funny that the best modern Assassin's Creed game is Ghost of Tsushima. Like it did everything that a good Assassin's Creed game should do and did with a much better and more engaging story too.

I really like assassin's creed shadows, but it's kind of hard to argue with him on the fact that the beginning is paced like a glacier.

I put over 100 hours each into AC Origins and AC Odyssey. They weren't amazing games, but I was depressed at the time!
