This is the guy they wanted. The so called “generational talent” smh. Almost every player that gets that label is the literal opposite of that. None of his final season in college gave the impression of a top tier qb talent. 2 other rookie qbs with worse surrounding talent made the playoffs last year. Hopefully he develops. But if not I wouldn’t be surprised

Agree. It sucks though that of course when we take Caleb first the 2nd quarterback taken almost makes the superbowl lol.

There was a QB metrics chart posted on a Bears blog that came from PFF and he was in the 30’s. His time to read and release was terrible and the reason he was sacked so many times. His accuracy was poor, particularly on deep passes. Those are just facts. He also had bad coaching, a terrible o-line, and no run game support to speak of. Still we look at 3500 yards, 20 TD’s, and 6 picks and that’s a good stat line in our eyes. He finally led a game winning drive in the final game at Green Bay but without the aforementioned deficiencies there could have been five. So we have a QB. We have to hope that Ben Johnson is what we think he is and brighter days are ahead.

Played great in the 4th quarter which was a breath of fresh air from Fields. But he was checkdown Charlie for the first 3 quarters. Had a team that should have won more. Playoffs or bust this season.

Caleb should have been ranked last! Faiz is drunk off the Caleb Aid. And you had a front row seat bro! He had the best lineup of any 1st round pick in the history of the NFL and absolutely got garbage time stats! Caleb looked like a lost clown on offense. Every one else on the list played better. End of story!

I honestly think where caleb got ranked is pretty accurate and that's not me being a hater. That's just me saying had he not been the number 1 pick, he would of been benched several times over, so I believe that's why he got ranked low. He showed flashes but he also showed he wasn't ready to be a starting caliber qb plus the oline did him no favors. He tried to play hero ball more than he should But with better coaching and a better line, he definitely shouldn't be at the bottom next year.

Whoever did this poll was one of the guys who hates Caleb, He set Bears 100 plus year rookie records with no coach or OC and they have Fields who was a back up better than the guy who set Bears rookie records. Haters will hate!!!

OK. A ROOKIE that has these numbers:

3541 yards, 20 TD and only 6 INT

And you think he's a bottom 5 QB in the league?!?!? Just look at the numbers... There is NO FUCKING WAY Caleb Williams deserves that rank. Only FOUR of the QBs with more than 10 starts had fewer picks that Caleb ROOKIE Williams!!!!

You're right. Not saying he's even top 15 (YET!). But to put him pretty much at the bottom?! What the hell?

The truth is, Caleb and the Bears could go undefeated, and Caleb could break every NFL QB single season record, and then they MIGHT put him at number 10.

NFL rules state that you're never allowed to say the Bears have a good QB regardless of actual reality

No one understands had the WORST HC in 2024, No One understands he had the worst o Line. The national media is horrible, at least in the 80's and 90's they new every team and could discuss each team, now it is just East Coast and West Coast teams only. Have not watched espn or fox for coverage on the Bears since 2000 they are awful (National Media) to ALL the Midwest teams.
