If medicals look good and he has a good pro day I want Josh Simmons. An elite left tackle to protect Caleb’s blind side on a rookie contract would be a huge addition. He gets a year to rotate in with Braxton Jones before taking over as starter next year when Braxton leaves via free agency.

I’m a big Michigan fan. All four projected first round picks are gonna have a floor of a good NFL starter. I wouldn’t hate any of them.
Ideal situation for us to move back if we can find a trade partner. Grant at 14 to 19 and gain another 2nd or even next years 1st would be a win win for us.
Swifty, do NOT be surprised when the Bears draft Kenneth Grant. He went to Merrillville High School and is a huge Chicago Bears fan fan growing up. You know how Poles loves to take homegrown talent and Northwestern Indiana (The Region) is Bear Nation. Unlike the Kiran Amegadjie pick, which was a stretch at best, Kenneth Grant is an absolute stud!! I would be absolutely thrilled if they got him at 10.
I dig the idea of Grant. Especially after watching his main highlight reel just today. I didn't really hear or know about him til recently. And I like Loveland more for us more than Warren

I love Grant. he is an elite NT prospect. but can you really spend that much capital on 1 or 2 down player who will be in a rotation with billings? roster economics says no.
grant isnt going to be used on passing downs. Dayo and Grady will get the interior rush opportunities. so will dex.
Same goes for loveland. can you spend a 2nd round pick on a TE that will only get 40 targets in a year? if that. i doubt it.
if the Bears want to keep Caleb, rome, DJ and have an oline and Dline they have to make sure they arent spending big money elsewhere. that means you use picks to replace 17M dollar players like edmonds, not 3M dollar players like back up TE or NT.
but we'll see.
Will johnson is very intriguing. i'd love 2 shut down corners and then move Tyreek to FS. he'd be an elite FS prospect.
