Following the events of Season 1, Cruz (Laylsa De Oliviera) had no intentions of rejoining Joe’s (Zoe Saldaña) team. After Cruz is needed to shadow and handle the new Lioness Josie (Genesis Rodriquez), Joe begins to realize how valuable of an asset Cruz is to the program and their relationship evolves with an increase in respect and trust.
