I've been a soccer coach for 18 years, currently for a top-tier U19 team in Central Europe. And I can assure everyone that no coach in the world would pick a player without the approval of, first, the player himself and, second, the medical staff. It's perfectly understandable that his manager (Nedal Huoseh, who never played professional soccer himself) is now crying about an injury that—admittedly, is very serious—but can happen at any time in soccer. Davies is now missing out on some hefty bonuses at Bayern Munich. And thus his management's commission. Very hypocritical and completely unnecessary comments from Huoseh. Besides, his company, ATG Sportsmanagement Inc., doesn't represent any other notable players.

Canada has been the only team in world football that builds a team around a left back. A more conventional strategy will help the team overall.

If davies loses his pace he'll be an average player at best. All physicality not much technique.

Jesse Marsch gehört sofort entlassen. Die Bayern sollten Kanada und Marsch verklagen

A guy kicked him. It wasn't a non-contact foul.

USA #16 kicked Davies in calf just below knee. Should have been a red card.

its a typical agent response. nothing to get worked up over. Very sorry to hear for Davies. Wish him a speedy recovery!

Wishing him well. Wait until Davies speaks for himself before tearing his other acl !
An agent only has economics on his mind.

No. I am almost certain that Jesse Marsch didn't pressure Davies to play injured.
Davies basically threw his federation and his manager under the bus. CAMNT plays better without Davies, who's ego is bigger than his impact on Canadian games.
Davies should never have been named captain. He kept from a game by John Herdman due to minutes restrictions by Bayern during WCQ, Davies on social media to vent.

What I suspect happened in this case is that Davies insisted that he was fit to play, and now that he's injured for the rest of the season, Bayern must be fuming, so Davies and his agent are putting the blame on Jesse. Pathetic!
