Don’t forget about Darwin Cook, Crenshaw high Basketball player, who was drafted to the NBA, and started his Career playing 5 years for the New Jersey Nets, who are now the Brooklyn Nets, he played several more years with various teams throughout the league. Robert Smith, point Guard at Crenshaw High, was drafted into the NBA by the Denver Nuggets, where he played his first couple of years before joining other NBA teams. In Football remember Kerry Justin, who was a star cornerback at Oregon State University, and was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks, where he started as a cornerback for 5 years, his big brother 0:49 Sydney Justin, who played wide receiver for the LA RAMS in the 1979 Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers, he eventually went on to become the Lead Singer of the R&B group Shalamar after former lead Singer Howard Hewitt went solo, he eventually left Shalamar and has been the lead singer of Smokey Robinson’s old group the Miracles for decades now, they still going strong, and his younger brother Kerry is now also a member of the Miracles. And let’s not Forget about the Crenshaw high school choir, it’s is world renowned, they have performed all around the world, for foreign Clergy and Diplomats, the movie Sister Act was inspired by the Crenshaw High School choir, Iris Stevenson became a well known figure in the music industry for her work as choir director of the Crenshaw High school Choir, too many to name but here are a few that were missed……..

If you do A part 3, you gotta do Crenshaw D-Line. They were on the cover of S.I. tittle we are the world. They have the biggest D-Line in high school football history.

Could you do a video on how people of color were restricted to the Eastside of Los Angeles due to the Caucasians feeling they were more privileged which is why the Bloods and Crips initially formed gangs? There is some history there that I would like tk know more about.
