i just want real legend of zelda back
I just want phantom hourglass as a switch game 🥲😭
Why is link on the thumbnail and not Zelda?
Screw this game.
The Legend of Link: A Zelda in the Present
wdym the music is bland and forgettable except for the final boss
also maybe it was a patch but literally only saw a notable frame dip once
Breath of the wild and tears of the kingdom are not good games their shit games
This game does a great job of making Zelda as a playable character much more than just girl link which is awesome
my ONLY gripe with the game is not being able to favorite echoes
Because the old style games weren't 98% empty space. That's why we want to go back. The open world games are just ridiculously tedious. The puzzles are so mind numbingly dumbed down and the dungeons are…not dungeons.
I killed the final boss with Sharks. 5/5
Im very offput on trying this one tbh. I never imagined we would ever play as zelda.
It’s nice to play another top down Zelda
Hopefully they just mean the mainline games. Because if this is the last top down Zelda then we’re losing something wonderful for no reason.
I just tried out the game. So far, it is pretty fun. Fortunately it wasn't too hard or frustrating. I guess I played just enough Zelda games. So I am used to how things work. So I can figure out a lot of things intuitively. The kind of Zelda games I am really used to is the opean world games. BOTW and TOTK are my favorite Zelda games. They are even my favorite games on the switch. Echoes of Wisdom is a lot more traditional. So certain things I take for granted are just easier than I expected. Travel is easy. I went from the village in the southern part of Hyeule. Then I walk up north. I pass the castle. Then I end up in Zora domain. The walk was so short. This version of Hyrule is tiny. One of my biggest accomplisgments early on is fighting the talus boss. I managed to defeat that thing in one try and without a guide. That is impressive because bosses are supposed to be challenging. I know that I should aim for the eyeball or the glowy part. This one had a purple glowy stone. One issue I had was trying to find a way to heal. I wonder if there was a way to find food on the wild, so I could heal myself. Then this video gave a tip. I tried it, and it works. I just have to conjure a bed and take a nap. Then I can heal myself out of battle. Wow. That was easy. This video does make a good point that going back to tradition makes Evoes of Wisdom move away from opean world. That is why this version of the world is so tiny. I also would like to add that this same tradition also moves away from survival. Gathering and cooking food has been second nature to me. So it seems so easy to heal in a traditional Zelda game without doing that.
Thanks for letting me know to steer clear of this one! Was thinking about buying it, but then you showed me the lack of direct combat in it. That is what I used to come to Zelda to play for!
Also this is the first time I've heard that open world isnt just a passing phase for the IP. I couldnt be more sad. I guess my days of playing zelda are now over.
I did not come to zelda to play Fortnight, or GTA. I just want a top down dungeon fighting experience.
This should be a $20 game…. It’s not that good
My only real complaint is that it was a bit too much hand holding. There were quite a few really fun puzzles and bosses, but there also a lot of puzzles that could have been so much more fun if they actually let me figure it out myself. Otherwise it was a really fun and enjoyable experience. Played like nonstop for 5 days, it was so much fun overall
where is YUzu must upgrade the audio to play
i prefer this classic zelda gameplay style! on a list of my favorite zelda games botw and totk are at the bottom. if they made a new one of these every year like madden i would buy them all!
I dont want to start any hate discussion but Zelda wearing a hood, is that some creative way to cover her head so Muslims wont feel offended?
Wind Waker was the best LoZ game. They need to re-release it on Switch
I have two questions for people who played, can you play this game even when low on braincells and not much energy to think without wanting to drop it for a while? And do dungeons have signature items or echoes as it's usual with 2D Zeldas' dungeons?
This game completely sucked. Of the 30-hour game, 29 hours are spent clicking through the dialogue. Dialogue that isn't remotely interesting. The final boss is so easy, all you need are about 8 hearts, a couple smoothies, and a high-end moblin. There's zero challenge, and the load times are beyond aggravating. If you loved this game, you're a dumbass.
Dam I wish the graphics was more like phantom hourglass, the artstyle here of course looks more HD given the date but it looks like real life clah
The princess IS Zelda
Give me my fucking money
Until I die, or until this pokemon game gets made, this is the best pokemon game that never got made.
It's not a Zelda game…at least it doesn't feel like one. It's too easy, feels like it was made for a 5 year old…along with the puzzle "complexity" ( I use that term loosely). And the combat system is way too convoluted. Not having a quick select and scrolling through a ton of useless crap is annoying. Least favorite Zelda game, by far.
Nintendo- "don't emulate our games"
Also Nintendo- console that can't run their own games
the switch is to weak for this game i will play it on the switch 2
Warning this is a no sense of the imagination a game just a crappy summon only run where you watch watch the game play itself because they forgot to let you do literally f**** do anything for yourself by definition its unplayable and more of a show
So I was playing Zelda breath in the wild for the first time recently after 7 years I finally got a switch and one of the first things I noticed about the game and appreciated was how similar it was. It is to Elden ring in the open world since where it doesn’t really tell you much and you just kinda gotta figure it out on your own, how you can get/go to anywhere in the open world take on the game how you want to it’s like a more kid friendly version of Elden ring
3:28 even the echo got distracted 🤣
Too easy
Damn, what if Zelda was a boy?
I never encountered frame rate dips in mine. I don't know how you have.
When I heard about this game I think it would be boring and not so fun. I don’t like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom so much. The Elder Scrolls would be my favourite game series if we only had open world Zelda games. But Zelda is my favourite game series because of the other games.
But after I played Echoes of Wisdom I can say it is a much better game than Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom. I really like it but it is not one of the best Zelda games. But I can play this game again and I want to do it but games like Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom I don’t want to play again after I finished them.
As someone who only got into LOZ at all because of BOTW, this one looks too cutesy and simple for me heh. But ah well… I remember being shocked to find out that BOTW was not universally praised at the time so maybe it’s just a style difference for me lol!
I much prefer these top down Zelda games more than the open world botw or even ocarina of time style ones
I really wish they’d give us permanent items again. That’s what made the games fun!!!
3:30 they brought back oot spinny thingys!
I don't know how to exactly describe it properly but I consider Breath of the Wild to be the same thing as a single kingdom from Mario Odyssey but blown up to a giant map. Finding a shrine is the equivalent of finding a moon and then if you have to go into a tunnel and play a special area to get the moon That's the same as playing a shrine in order to get the reward from the shrine rather than it just giving it to you for finding it.
The characters obviously have completely different movesets in each of the games but That's the main difference honestly.
Sometimes when I play a video game I just want to play like the core gameplay of the game and I don't care about all the other fluff so I'll end up just playing the mode that gives you just the core gameplay. Well when I finally got bored of The main game which is Breath of the Wild then I went and played Mario Odyssey.
I hope I did at least somewhat of a good job of describing and so that's why having Zelda games like Link's Awakening are good. Less story and more gameplay though the story in Link's Awakening is pretty good.
This actually gives me hope that we'll see an Oracle of Ages & Seasons remake.
Good job on this video
It would’ve been cool if it was less Lego animated looking and more realistic with the same format and if Zelda had more of a badass look than a black hoodie you’re looking at most of the time. She should look like an adventurer.
