With the Calgary Flames and Vancouver Canucks currently chasing the final Wild Card spot, which of the two Canadian teams is more likely to make it? Noodles talks about strength of schedule; St. Louis has arguably the easiest schedule for the last 11 games, including 3 against Nashville, one of which they just won. This question is irrelevant in my opinion; both the Flames and Canucks will be well back once we hit early April.

I would like to believe the Flames and Canucks will this season see playoff action although given the state of the Western Conference wildcard race, I see it likely only either such team at best will see playoff action.

Neither both teams suck. St Louis Blues are a very good hockey team and should be in the playoffs. Canucks are not consistent and don’t play a full three periods the Flames are the same. Canucks are the most embarrassing because management screwed up and won’t take the blame. Both Patrik and Jim should be fired.

doesn't matter, neither will be able to overtake the blues anyways, they have the lead and also the softest schedule so far. also, you're stupid if you think the flames have a better team game, they'll get swept in round 1 if they make it in, which they won't

What's with all this "playoff" nonsense in regards to the Calder? Last I checked it wasn't a team award. Celebrini is the best rookie by a country mile, Wolf has been incredible too. Hutson has had a nice season, but he's legitimately awful at defense, which is his first responsibility as a DEFENSEMAN. Michkov/Lane can battle for the 3rd spot.
