I would buy Xbox handheld 👍
Xbox doesnt want to make consoles, nor does it seem they want to create new games, they want to buy publishers so they make gamepass more attractive. Despite the fact gamepass is running out of unsubscribed customers to convert. Its all about buying up a backlog then laying off the devs who made the damn games in the first place.
xbox not making asuz is making
I mean honestly I don't see it as a bad thing if the next Xbox is just essential a plug and play gaming PC and a handheld that's like the rog handheld that's a bit more optimized when it comes to the windows computer side of things. It may not feel like classic Xbox but I don't see it as a bad direction
1:05 that madden poster 🔥🔥
So good to see these brave boys on a daily basis. ❤
LawDog, the only way to beat Bruce’s shirt comments is to do the next episode in full Doom Slayer gear
The only way I’m ok with Microsoft pulling out of the hardware market is if they migrate my games ALL OF THEM , to steam or PC Xbox app.
Microsoft needs to play to their strength anyway. They've always sucked at hardware
Yeah but handheld gta 6 for what…$400? After buying the new tech plus the game that will already be a higher price? Idk if that’ll do well really.
Also, love the daily videos! Keep it up!
Thank you for the shout-out!
For the mobile XBox conversation, I dont know that I would agree a mobile XBox would sell well. Since XBox has been developing and using XCloud where numerous mobile devices can take advantage of this service, I would think a compact device/tablet that most people probably already own would serve this purpose. I know XCloud isnt perfect, but I would suspect a mobile XBox would face similar latency/mobile issues. My opinion would be to put more resources into improving XCloud especially with their game pass success than to develop redundant hardware. Just my thoughts…
Gonna be the biggest flop of a handheld. No one wants nor needs an Xbox handheld. Theres far better out there already. And not even mentioning the soon to be Switch 2
You guys continuing to put these videos out give me hope as a mid 30's millennial dad that one day I'll be able to play games again instead of just watching videos about the games I wish to play. Also, it's helpful as my kids age to know the content available to them. Thank you!
I love my rog ally x. I use it along my gaming pc when I’m out running errands or on the road. I mainly use game pass and steam on it. So I’m very interested to see what this portable would end up being. Wonder if it could be the rumored ally 2
The “Xbox” handheld won’t run Xbox games only Xbox play anywhere/windows games. GTA 6 is a Xbox series x/s with no mention of the play anywhere brand
GTA won’t be a windows
Microsoft was pretty open about their stated goal back when they were gearing up for the release of the original Xbox. Their whole reason for getting into the console business was to control the living room. They didn’t want to make hardware, they’re a software company, but to get into the console business to the degree they wanted they needed their own console. The thing is, that war for the living room basically ended the moment you could stream movie streaming services to your hundred dollar Blu-Ray player, when the Roku came out, and when smart TVs allowed users to do all that streaming stuff with the need of another device being plugged into it. Once Xbox Game Pass was announced, it was like: Yeah, of course Microsoft wants this on everything…there whole reason for making consoles doesn’t really even exist anymore.
Handhelds, mobile systems, are definitely the future for consoles; Nintendo showed that with the Switch, a system less powerful than the PS4 that has dominated all its competition by being something you can play in your living room while someone else is watching TV. The only weird thing is how slow Microsoft and Sony have been to responding to the eight year old Switch which is about to be replaced by Nintendo with the Switch 2. Like who thought Valve would have an answer to the Switch before the two companies that are actually in the console business? Microsoft and Sony should have been coming out with handheld versions of the XBOX One and PS4 five years ago instead of the Series X and PS5. I wouldn’t be surprised if the next Xbox from Microsoft is some Xbox that’s something along the lines of a Microsoft Surface or Surface Duo that gets a boost from being put into a station port like the Switch does.
Although I think the battle for the VR market is the future of that battle of the living room, and unless they take too long, a video game console with VR out of the box would definitely take that market in the same kind of way Sony made their disc format the main ones with their consoles. I’m also surprised Sony didn’t hold off a few years and release a more powerful PS5 in like 2024 that was built around VR as opposed to what they did end up doing…which lost them the console market to the Nintendo Switch after being on top with the PS4.
I would’ve killed for a portable Xbox 360 in 2010. We have that now it’s called the Switch. Which I don’t even use portably anyway.
Awesome keep it up guys
I believe that Microsoft’s problem with hardware is that they are always late on the trigger. Their gaming system original Xbox came way after Sony, Nintendo, and even Sega had a firm footing in that space. Let’s not forget the Microsoft Zune and its strange try at mp3 after Apple, Samsung, and Sandisk did too. They seem to want to out class them but don’t know how. We’ll see how the Surface does and this “maybe” portable system
Once the companies move to full digital and rentals instead of customer ownership, I’ll be moving to emulators and retro gaming stuff.
I hate SaaS and memberships, I don’t see any games or franchises that appeal to me enough to justify repeating costs, I retired my Adobe account, I stopped prime and Netflix, I’ll just do the same for PlayStation / Xbox
Playing gta on an handheld sounds like a horrible experience
