This Xbox Handheld is going to be underwhelming and pointless. If it's Windows based, it will need to be something really special to compete with the embedded players. Biggest issue I see, I guarantee this will not support your Xbox console library. The Xbox PC library, is not very large. And the bigger problem is that most Xbox folks who would be interested in this will not have a large Xbox PC library. Which means, they will need Gamepass to have access to Xbox PC games.

Oh, but Play Anywhere. Yeah, that is vanishingly few games. I own over 500 Xbox games, 66 of them are Play Anywhere. Play Anywhere is a marketing ploy more than an actual feature. So that is out.

Oh, but you could use Steam! Anyone who is interested in a Windows gaming handheld to access the paltry Xbox PC offerings and use Steam probably have a device already. Anyone who is mostly concerned with Steam has a Steam Deck or something like a ROG Ally with Bazzite installed.

This handheld will be DOA unless they come up with something truly game changing. My money is on "They won't."

Have to disagree with FromSoftware, they have DLC and make pricey AAA.

Hazelight is much different, lower priced, free coop pass for a friend, and focus on coop fun.

dismissing it as optional is naive. looking up guides is optional, choosing a difficulty mode to easy is optional, this is part of the ui and calls to be called upon, it's optional to read hate comments, straighten up man.

Xbox is now Xboxstation and Switchbox.. I think their strategy is good but the only thing wrong with it is putting their games on their competitors hardware. It's fine if it PC,Smarphones, tablet and TVs because those are not competing wit them but Sony and Nintendo are. They're basically telling people you don't need an Xbox which is exactly what they said lol XD

I think Switch 2 will see a similar problem as AMD's 9070 series GPUs. NO amount of stock build up will be enough due to demand being so high. Just like the 9070 series, Switch 2 will sell out very fast in most markets.

I want the xbox handheld to be able to be cross save but not required to be online and can play most games offline with a ssd hard drive with hopefully an 8” screen

1. I'm definitely going to try the next Xbox handheld I want to see what it can do even if it's made by a third party.

2. What's more intriguing is the Xbox PC hybrid if it going to be a cheaper alternative to PC then I'm all for it I'm hoping that this will definitely provide an alternative to buying a PC that you can put in your living room and console Gamers can enjoy the 25,000 games in the PC Library, I'm definitely going to buy this console PC hybrid device and test its capabilities with Total War.

What they need to do is take that Xbox app and fix it to where you can have access to all your games that you paid for and get rid of PC game pass get rid of that garbage and just focus on the Xbox app.

$499-$599 would be too expensive imo, unless it had cutting edge processing power and an oled screen! Microsoft should subsidize it more, $399-$499 would be much better.
