Well, this is one reason why I still havenât decided to cord cut yet because will it benefit us or not. It's time well in the next 3 to 5 years, maybe. I like YouTube TV after using the 21-day trial.
Years ago, I liked YTTV. But the last time I tried them, they lied. They said the 4K would be half price for a few months and the service would be a lower price for a few months. They even broke it down for me and asked me to agree. I did, and the next thing I find is that they charged me full price for everything right up front, from the first hour. They DO have hidden fees. I will not buy a tv service that lies to people.
I cancelled youtube tv it started out 30 bucks but then kept going up wasn't worth it for 83
YouTubeTV should offer an option without locals being locals are starting to ask too much money for something over the air. If I pay for Paramount plus why do I need to pay for local CBS channel.
I like YouTubeTV, but i don't want to pay more than it already is
For a $10 per customer increase YTTV should be able to have a better DVR than they have now. It is too hard to find things you recorded and you canât just record 1 show in a series it records them all plus goes back and adds old episodes to it and keeps recording until you tell it to stop . Hulu + Live has a much better DVR.
What skinny bundles does fubo have
How do you have so many apps on your fire device, I always have problems with storage
bring back MLB network and you got a customer till I die which isn't long
I dropped YouTube TV because of the price.
YouTube TV Currently screwing customers by selling max, Starz, and Paramount Plus (showtime) as an entertainment package – but you don't actually get Paramount Plus (showtime).
I don't care about local TV nor do I want a package that includes channels I won't ever watch but still have to pay for. WHY can't they get this?
Offer a "No Locals" package for those that have an OTA TiVo. Any reason why the big ones don't do that?
I have already sent a email to youtubetv with a link to DIRECTV my sports new package. It is close to what I have been asking for in sports news and locals. It hasnât reached all my locals yet but is promising. For $70 I would pay youtubetv for it.
I need my local channels on YouTube TV (I live in a location where even with an antenna I donât get all my local channels), especially in the spring and summer when my area gets a lot of severe weather and, sometimes, tornadoes. Having a local channel around where I can watch it at a location where Iâm riding out a possible tornado helps too (which happened at least 3 times this past summer).
I am glad to hear there is a possibility of YouTube TV offering different packages. I agree with many, the price point is getting to high and if this continues I am sure we will look for other ways to stream.
Watching live tv shows is for old people. Canceled cable 2 years ago. I dont miss watching tv at all. I just binge watched 1883 and 1923 on Paramount. Thats all i need
Android OS 14 just came out March 13th 2025 on Google TV
Americansâ wallets FINALLY are starting to get a win with CATV channels on YTTV, and other platforms. Canada does already have this, as our government requires that cable companies offer channels individually, or in small genre-based packages, but they also require customers to buy a $25 local channel package. The way it works, is if you want lots of news networks like CNN, and Fox News, you as a customer can purchase a single channel or theme pack for $9/month, on top of a $25/month local TV package for your local news.
The whole point of cutting the cord was to lower the bill that we pay. What good is it if if ends up costing 3 times as much to watch everything that we used to watch for free. I'm really starting to get sick of this.
Iâm very happy with the new entertainment channel from DtV Stream. Right up my alley. I have an antenna on my house for local. And donât require sports since all
I do is baseball and get the season pass when it goes on sale each year.
Can you get public tv listing. . .call the midwife, wolf hall and the like
Most price increases are being driven by the rising cost of sports. But sports fans are some of the few people who still are willing to pay for live content. So do you pay and raise prices or lose the content and the subscribers anyway?
Cord Cutter News, which would you recommend Hulu or You Tube TV?
I went away from youtube tv because they got so stupid on the price. Give me an entertainment bundle reasonably priced and I might consider it. Dont even need sports
I really only got YouTube TV in order to watch several Fox News/Business shows and some Dick Wolf produced shows on NBC like The Chicago shows Fire/PD/Med (sometimes), but have been disappointing when looking for Fox & Friends on the 12th and 13th to find they weren't there! Earlier and later episodes were available, but after 2-3 days, it's not something I'm interested in anymore! I actually saw the last 3-4 minutes on the 12th, but couldn't find the whole show in the library. When Googling about it, there seems to be different interfaces for other people. I use Roku devices to view YouTube TV. Why isn't there an option to watch regular YouTube through the same interface? My Samsung Smart TV doesn't have Roku or YouTube TV as an app. It does have a YouTube app but I have a separate PC connected to the TV which I use for that, Rumble, and a couple or websites that I check. I don't really care about the multi-view or sports packages, I just wish I could get those small requests for the over $80 per month I'm paying. I'd be willing to pay a couple more dollars to view regular YouTube from within the app as I have to change to sound output when going from the PC to the ROKU device!
I had YTTV starting @$35, then $50. I quit it when they went higher. Just not worth it. I have over 2000 films, and 100 tv series on DVD/Blu-Ray/4k discs. I really don't have time for YTTV.
Offer a plan that is identical to the original $35 plan without any of the extra channels they offered afterwards and I'd probably sign up for it again.
personally I am a HUGE fan of YouTube TV, even though YouTuve TV DOES NOT offer ALL of the channels that I used to watch when I was a Comcast/Xfinity cable TV subscriber. I am a little surprised that more people have not dropped their cable TV subscriptions and switched to YouTube TV. Of Course one BIG reason for that is that at this time Youtube TV DOES NOT carry all of the channels that people want.. I must also say that I am a little surprised that more cable companies such as Comcast/Xfinity have not switched to a STREAMING ONLY FORMAT like some cable companies have already done Of Course if cable companies start doing that then they will lose money. But if worse comes to worse, I am sure that cable companies WILL MAKE UP FOR THE LOSS OF MONEY IN DUE TIME.
YTTV IS GETTING TOO EXPENSIVE
Hey, nice try on the video, but let's cut the fluff. The speculation about YouTube TV not raising prices in 2025 is laughable, especially since they just jacked it up to $82.99. I don't give a shit about sugarcoating it; if they can squeeze more cash out of us, they will.
As for smaller packages, it's a great idea, but until YouTube TV puts their money where their mouth is, it's just hot air. Yeah, competitors are doing it, but we need concrete news from YouTube, not just wishful thinking.
The multi-view customization sounds cool, but until they confirm it, it's all just speculation. Roku's doing some cool stuff, but YouTube needs to step up their game.
Lastly, let's not ignore the elephant in the room â FCC regulation and content cost battles. These are real issues that could blow up in our faces. Let's keep it real and watch these developments closely.
Thanks for the predictions, but let's stick to what we know. Looking forward to seeing how YouTube TV evolves in 2025, but let's not get our hopes up without solid info. Time for YouTube to put up or shut up.
NO TO NEWS CHANNELS. That's adding $10 or more for nothing but propaganda
they need to offer a package without the dumb cable news and sports. We cancelled because we never watch that and refuse to pay for it.
Would be nice if YouTube links YouTube to their screen
