@Cypher791 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm

@felix1974 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Whether Steven likes it or not, it's coming
@bjvu9460 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
This is a dumb idea. Who is going to be the customer? Is a company going to buy that and give it to you when they can buy a robot with sensors and AI driven? Why would you buy that and store it where? This guy is a MOE RON!

If the end user is the average person, how will this avatar get to work and who controls it on the way to work, and how much will it cost and who maintains it. Any device that has to be controlled by humans to operate will not be adopted by for profit companies since it will not help them make more money and will likely cost them money. Now, again, how would a robot help people keep a job when the robot has to be manually operated by the same clumsy person !!!

I thought all asians were smart but I guess he is the exception.

GARBAGE!

"...And make the world a better place"
*unveils dystopian invention
@Arnold1nspiration March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
This is the first time Stephen has opened his mouth and I’ve gone “yep. Totally agree”.

Except his point of 5 years.

Try more like 50.

Can someone tell me the diffrence to the world that Elon Musk has made? Other than ruining Twitter.
@syedfaizanshah4814 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Agreed. I thought he'd counter for at least 15 per cent and then Peter would come to 20 per cent
It was worth negotiating anyway
@frozengamer3030 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Peter is a billionaire of course he's going to invest
@LordAbaddon March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
The technology is already outdated. The arm is too limited and the controls are terrible. This is just sad.
@Obetv01 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
When the robots fully assume power, they will come for all the dragons that declared themselves out. None will be spared. NONE!!!!
@MissesWitch March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
I thought he was going to say 15%, but 25% is wow!
@John-3692 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
This is sheer brilliance. I recently enjoyed a similar book, and it was absolutely brilliant. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint

@dheerajsingh6255 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
How come this guy did not get funding from China?
@zxerk4158 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Peter gor money like that to blow and take risks, good on him
@wearenoless6732 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
I am surprised the dragons don’t know remote surgeries using robotic arms
@andymartinez767 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Well i had cancer to one of my kidneys and the surgeon who removed my kidney used a robot. So there are robotics in hospitals that are used and was very accurate surgery.

This robot looks clunky and i would be concerned, needs more development and refinement,
@wrdswpns1139 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
elon musk would love this guy
@scottyk200 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
“You have 20 seconds to comply.” 😱
@patrickchan2503 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
love how the dragons are so loud when they have a point to prove, lol, like scolding the entrepreneurs
@shivinunitholi2493 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Steven was spot on with his observations.
@kavengovender7256 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Go on Steven …
@costanzojr March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
This visionary invention doesn't make a lot of sense. Robotic surgery has been around for many years already.
@Northman57 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Old people belong at Home and Not in a Home where the workers are over worked and get low wages.
@ShadowfinderMusic March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Rank the (regular) Dragons from nice to mean.
1. Sarah 2. James 3. Steven 4. Tej 5. Tukay 6. Theo 7. Deborah 8. Peter 9. Duncan
Agree/disagree?
@BigLu4 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
Steven says he doesn't want to buy into the idea that a robot will serve his grandad his meal in the future. I think it's highly likely that is the way its going because 1. People do not want to work in care and it is very difficult to find high quality care staff when the wages are so low. 2. The younger generations are not having kids so this will compound the issue when they get older.

The working class no longer want to take the 'unskilled' jobs so we are going to have to find solutions, we can't just rely on open border immigration to plug the gap like we have been doing. Robotic care in the future is highly likely based on these trends.
@inkosinozwelonyathi6360 March 17, 2025 - 4:11 pm
The robot is too slow
