Pentatonix won season 1 of the tv show "The Sing-Off" an acapella competition. Home Free won season 4 of the same show.
Man I absolutely can not wait until you get to their ninety's mash up because we are about the same age and when I heard that song I was dancing all over my house it just brought back all the memories and feels and the Michael Jackson evolution is , I have always been and probably will always be a Michael Jackson fan and I will die on that hill that he did not do the things they said he dit especially now with more information about he's shown about his bodyguard later working for daddy but that's a story for a different day LOL

Idk how you take recommendations, but you should check out Naturally 7 — Specifically their big blow up song from like 20 years ago "Naturally 7 Live in Paris Subway! Full Clip"; But probably the best that shows them is "Naturally 7 feat. Seon Scott – 'Hello' (Adele Cover)".
All of their stuff on their YouTube channel is post "Sing-Off". It's funny that you keep mentioning the future of music because one of the judges on the show, after every time they performed, would say the exact same thing..that they would and DID bring a capella music into the future.

They were on a show called The Sing Off – an Acapella really competition. I think they won season one – kind of like Kelly Clarkson and American Idol. OGs are the best
