The spring washers should be on the nut side of the panel not the head of the bolt side…
the white units shelves in background in the room.. they ikea ? where they from?
After reading some documents on these server racks I ready they have to be grounded.
1. Did you do that
2. Where do you attach it to in your house?
As a member of the Penn-elcom team nicely done. However I would suggest that where you attached the lid and base sections the lock washer should be on the inside. These are there to stop the nut from turning not the screw. It is great to see our products in use. Keep it up.
Video idea: how to make a smart home that doesn't look like a smart home (no obvious sensors, no visible robot vacuum, switches that work like ole school switches, etc).
Bel lavoro Gio. io ci lavoro tutti i giorni con i rack ma devo dire che hai fatto proprio un bel lavoretto. Ordinato pulito e funzionale. Bravo!!
I really like the result, it looks smart and tidy, the LED especially is a nice touch and gives it a premium look.
I don't have the space at the moment for a full rack, but have recently sorted out my cable management so it looks a 'bit' better!
Thanks for sharing. Looks good.
Looking forward to seeing the UDM Pro Upgrade 😊
Nice setup, I’m looking to build one for myself
Nice setup 🙂 Still regret the choice I made 5 years ago when rebuilding our home to not put everything in a rack… All stuff is now divided over 3 places …
Always fun to see some nice racks. I build one myself into a tight spot of the utility closet and it was easier than expected. I used some loose rails and a bit of wood. I definitely need to add the led strip for additional geek points.
And Congratulations with the new baby!
