I don’t generally care about the graphics and you can do plenty with crazy hardware. Look at BOTW but I do care about a more steady frame rate.

Decided to purchase after watching this video and man i feel like everyone is overhyping how the performance of this game is…On Base Ps5 balanced mode game looks way better in person than on video and performance while not 60 is not that bad at all and barley noticeable it’s not 60 tbh…

I gotta say... I'm a long time MH fan. Been playing since the very first MH on PS2 and even purchased a japanese 3DS just to be able to play MH4 on release but I just can't justify spending money on what I'm seeing here. Constant crashes on PC. Game looks like it's 10 years old and runs worse...

Idk why they had to go for the open world + super ultra weather effect stuff... I'd rather have a slightly better looking Worlds or Rise than this tbh.

Locations look very bland and gray. It feels like a downgrade compared to World on ps4

Genuinely disappointing performance for this game all around. World definitely didn't come out perfect but it still looked very good and ran well after some fine tuning. I really hope Capcom pulls through and perform black magic to make this game run and look better but for now I'll hold off from getting this game.

Is performance mode really supposed to look like that? It’s supposed to be an upscaled 1080p but it looks way lower than that a lot of the time. I play on series x and it’s so blurry for some reason. Maybe some bug with the rendering

I had to stop playing on performance mode, since the last update it's super choppy and constantly stutters plus the frame rate is all over the place! Balanced mode is best atm in my opinion. I played world on a base ps4 so i can cooe with 30-40fps but i will say that we shouldn't have to and wilds should look/run way better than it does on every platform

Game has many flaws (subjective opinion ofc) since earlier titles like hunts are oversimplified now, no tracking monsters, gamma is grey, light-heartedness and silliness of World/Iceborne is replaced by needless drama and seriousness etc.
BUT I don't buy it for 1 reason only on my PS5 – performance and graphics.
Game looks awful. And it's not super awful, but it's like we are back to PS4 gaming.
It's not ok. We are in 2025. And 1080p 60 fps shouldn't be the standard.
It should be just baseline "ok". This game can't even achieve this.

On series x bought this yesterday and started it it was so darn bright and I even turned my HDR down before starting but it was so bright I could barely see the cutscenes so I'm absolutely going to have to adjust a bunch of settings

My wife is playing on the Pro with the big 4K screen. I’m on the base PS5 sitting next to her on my 32” 120Hz 1440p monitor. I tried Balanced but I’m just spoiled by 60+fps smoothness in my action games. I know I’m missing out on those nice water reflections though, but then again so is she.

Dragon Age is still on my whislist too. Too bad there are so many negative reviews on that one. Seems like everyone is trying to find something to complain on new games these days. The gameplay of The Veilguard looks fine to me. Never played a Dragon Age before, so I can't compare it with previous versions.

Great video about Monster Hunter... I'm on the edge of buying it.
