Tariffs are having immediate effects on the Sports Card world and I’m sure this will not be the last of them.

@megasoma March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Trump & the Republicans are just going to be ruining things left and right. Good times.

@Heaven-SentMemories March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

The PSA app in the app store is now called " PSA l Pokemon and Sports Cards" ?? The times are a changing.

@thecardclosetcanada5443 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

The bad thing about tarrifs is that even if a specific companies holders are made in the us, and all the other ones are out of country and affected by tarrifs, they're going to raise the price too. If all your competitors have to raise the price by 20%….. Your going to raise yours by 10-15% too. It happens all the time.

@chomps58 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Wouldn't PSA need to return subscription fees to anyone blocked?

@nicholasmantia9052 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Since PSA is pausing submissions from other countries,
maybe submissions from here will be a faster turnaround since they wont be grading so many cards……..
Who knows.

@samsams901 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Maybe Governor Justin can just start up a Canadian Grading company.

@andrewjackson4510 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

In other news, tariffs are also tanking the stock market.

@valenciafantv March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Crazy that a lot of the hobby voted for this clown as well

@anthonymcdonald3167 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

That's why we need to start making stuff in America like we used to remember made in America all these people with all this money in America but yet they let another country make the stuff start making it here what a joke America is when it comes to buying all of our stuff from another country and we can do it ourself stop being lazy people need jobs lazy pieces of crap

@fernando-mychildhoodcollec5671 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

I have 3 orders in PSA (I sent it on December) that I will recceive in the next two days in Mexico =(…

@BenDMitchell March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Are you in a feud with BIC?

@ktc629 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

totally fine, i dont live in those places, i dont buy from those places. Back to my day without a change. Hey idea! Brings some jobs back to the US to make these products, more jobs here mean more people working, more people working can lead to more funds for hobbies, more funds for hobbies can lead card collecting increasing interest! What a wonderful thing!

@Honeybearcards March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Wait a sec. I thought tariffs only apply to stuff coming IN to our country. Unless of course the other country puts in a tariff as well.

@dacryptkeeper6836 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Country over Cards . . . PERIOD!!!

@ArionX6 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

If I remember correctly the BGS slab is manufactured in China. I think it was mentioned due to a case with fake BGS (also originating from China) a few years ago.

@michaeldenzer6024 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Whos subbing to psa? Not me!!!!!! Can't do nothing right……

@rafaelrosas1873 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

As for penny sleeves and top loaders, maybe that will get some people here in the U.S. to start manufacture our own stuff here. Again benefitting the American people.

@rafaelrosas1873 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Look man, in the long run if these tariffs get us to the point where we and by we I mean Americans don't have pay taxes, then tariff away IDGAF.

@FromTheBenchYT March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

The border fees we pay as Canadians are on the service and not the value of cards after grading

@michaeldenzer6024 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Ty

@michaeldenzer6024 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Card companies already ripping us off!

@trevor245 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Historically customs fees regarding grading submissions have been based on the value of the service provided. So if you grade a 100k card for 5k and you live in Germany you will pay the customs tax % based on that 5k, not the 100k. And you only pay it upon receiving the package back. Now I am not a US citizen and I have not properly read up on how these tariffs are going to be implemented. But I would assume that the tariffs is not going to be over the value of the card but rather the value of the service as that is technically the only thing being exported. if 100k in goods goes in and 100k in goods plus 5k in goods that is paid for goes out it makes sense that only the paid service would incur the fee. If that is not how it works that would be incredibly stupid and frankly not workable.

@jamesnguyen7069 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

cant believe people are still collecting cardboard when nfts are obviously the future

@TradingCardsImmortal March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

These next 4 years are gonna be something to watch, as far as the hobby and world goes.

@mikesomerville4076 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

There is another work around for us Canadians. Just get a COMC account. We can send submissions to COMC to a Canadian address and if i buy something from an American seller, i send it there or to my Fanatics collect vault.

@Aaaandy_kick March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

The difference between IMPORT/EXPORT vs RETURN Goods. When ppl submit cards from outside US, they are not deemed to sell the cards to US meaning they are not IMPORT GOODS. They are deemed to be returned back to the sender. This is actually also advised as how to fill out the item description when shipped items internationally to US.

It makes no sense when you and PSA said middleman service would avoid tariffs.

If PSA doesnt get this straight with the US border services, then ppl outside US will not renew membership.

@Capitolcitytlc March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Don’t blame me I didn’t vote for the Cheeto with syphilis

@ryanra44 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

People were kidding themselves if they thought the card hobby was going to be immune to the dramatic political changes that are about to affect the country.

@custum18 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Most people don't realize how much of the stuff we buy in America is now made in Mexico. Food too. Or how much energy and gas comes from Canada.

@ryanra44 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

One of the sleeving companies (can’t remember if it was perfect fit or superior fit), shutdown bc they are based in Canada and can’t source their materials at a competitive price

@milehighty32 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Word is that yet might already be rolled back

@Philly_Joe March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Way to shout out to Brad and Carlos What's His Name. Thanks for the info. A+

@OJ_Pimpson March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Thanks to all of the complete morons that voted for him.

@Jacob_Spang March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Literally everything will be effcted by the tariffs. It's another inflation angle.

@bluethundertd1183 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

As soon as I saw the title to this video, I placed an order for a case of gold foil rookie card top loaders. Should last me a few years or less because of all the crappy eBayers who send their cards along with lint and hair and boogers. We have to remember this next 4 years, this is what we voted for, this is what we wanted and we have to eat it. Enjoy your tariffs and infectious disease

@elong087 March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

Apparently, (for now) there is a “De Minimis Rule” which states that shipment values less than 800$ will remain tariff free when entering the USA. Someone can correct me if I am misinterpreting this but if true, many international eBay orders would not be affected

@TheBorderGeek March 11, 2025 - 11:17 am

You all voted the Orange Fool in.
