Foolish to let Workman go. He deserves a shot. If he can play 3b, he can fill in at 2b as needed. This team can do well if they can stay healthy.

I want to drop a little stat on our former boy Kyle Hendricks. He's pitched in 2 games so far in spring training.
February 24 he pitched 2 innings. Threw 13 pitches...13 of them were strikes. 0 hits. 3Ks
March 1st he pitched 3 innings. Threw 18 pitches...18 strikes. 2 hits. 3Ks.
The Professor deserves a shout-out.

Great show Mick. I really feel we have enough arms in the pen. Merryweather has looked pretty good this spring. I think Robertson would not be worth the money or the roster spot. Kyle Finnegan signed yesterday with the Nats for one year and $6m. I’m not interested in signing the leftovers for that amount of money. I’m not sure we will get 6m of value from Turner as well.

Mick, I know the spring training games don't count in the course of things but I believe they do, they build confidence in players, the team moral and comraderie... And we see where we are and what we need to work on and do so

I think the Cubs are 9-2 in Spring Training because the Cubs have a strong form and that who was mostly playing when they were 6-0. Bring ON The Kids
