One reason Americans fear Islam is that most Islamic Imams/Preachers teach that Sharia law is the best law for mankind. It follows logically that many Muslims believe Sharia law is better than secular law. Sharia law is scary for Americans. It allows multiple wives, child marriage (like Iraq), cousin marriage, banning of alcohol, segregation of women/men and many other things that Americans find harmful. Another thing is that in many Islamic khutbahs/sermons "the west" and "America" is considered evil and bad. So we are often considered "the bad guys" in the minds of many Muslims. If Islam comes to our country and then preach over and over "the west"/America is evil. This combined with stories of people getting killed in Europe for burning the Quran and/or showing a picture of Muhammad. It naturally follows that many Americans will become scared of Islam.

As an American Muslim, this would be illegal under Federal law, no group can create a housing community exclusively for any one religion, thats illegal if you know anything about real estate law. This is a stupid idea, we Muslims should integrate with our fellow country men instead of creating our own enclaves.
