I care less about consoles. Yah funny as hell. PC is better than both of your stupid consoles yah fighting for. I have both consoles. All i care about is my games. At least the games I buy from xbox I can transfer them to my PC while i can't with Playstation due to sony strict guidlines. PC all the way!

No matter how you try to twist this narrative Xbox is the new Sega. I’ve been with Xbox for 23 years from the first GEN to now and for them to put the games that made them what they they were in the early 2000s on rival consoles makes me in half of the Xbox community feel like there is no point on an Xbox console the same way when Sega put sonic on the PlayStation and Xbox and the Nintendo way back in 2001 there was no fucking reason to have a second dream cast so now the new Sega is Xbox. There is no reason to have an Xbox Xbox bought all of the studios that was already making games for all of the consoles no matter if Xbox make hardware which would be stupid to make more hardware when you don’t have exclusive games, tied to that hardware doesn’t make me wanna buy an Xbox what is the point the Nintendo switch is the best handheld gaming console out there because Nintendo knows what they’re doing in the console space and the handheld space Sony has the best game exclusives and narrative driven games the best looking games than Xbox so why would I wanna buy an Xbox the question is why would anybody in the right mind that is a gamer that can play the same games on every console wouldn’t want a Nintendo or PlayStation the PlayStation is headed into their sixth console and Nintendo has put out plenty of consoles making them almost 40 Mario turns 40 in April so why would I want an Xbox if I can relieve the best halo games from the 360 days on an unreal five engine on a PS five and possibly a PS six? Why would I wanna buy an Xbox game pass is not enough for me to buy an Xbox when the games and game pass are the same games on the PSN network and now they’re putting their first party exclusives on PS five I would rather buy the Game at the $70 price point to relive my childhood on a system that I know it’s gonna be a gaming system and not a bullshit Xbox ecosystem that I’ve spent almost $25,000 on over my 23 years of being with Xbox. I’m just saying I’m team blue now so team Green I’ll see you later.

Exhausting the whole excuse this year alone from people parroting xbox dead or y bother getting one, there are clear differences between the consoles 2 options for entry with xbox s/x and cloud and then theres ps5 1 of them being the lesser console in sales but has had for years the most player engagement of the brands own studio made games and longer playtime passed released date, if coming to xbox you had it in mind they should be clones of sony then you lied to yourself because xbox has never made promises to…theres been a place and it being sony isnt enough for you having to project that on xbox is dishonest and fake this bs outrage. Sony is welcoming the stimulus package of games from phil.

You are very diplomatic when it comes to BioWare and Mass Effect. The real question is can BioWare put making the best experience possible and the gamers first and focus much less on activism. If they can do that , like they used to , then they have a fighting chance.

I’m old AF now and play mostly old games on switch so I don’t really care at this point but if 64% of Xbox game sales are on PlayStation it’s kind of a countdown to the end for Xbox consoles.

I own both systems. Still not buying Forza, but I hope Halo finds a new audience. It's a great series that deserves a new sequal

Would be nice if gears/halo gets on ps5 and some sony games like helldivers to xbox. I switch on pc because current gen has no games but this would help why people need a console again in 2025

I feel like Xbox is losing if they ever put halo on PlayStation. Don’t matter how they spin it. They’re basically turning into a saga. Sad

A good deal would of been that Microsoft make the open world racer for both consoles (Forza Horizon) and Sony makes the racing sim for both consoles (Gran Turismo). Imagine a world where the Xbox/Microsoft work in tandem with Sony/Playstation.

This is the dumbest shit ever, only if Microsoft had the balls to make all these games exclusive to Xbox and PC i think we would have seen competition like back in the 360 days. Obviously a game like COD could stay multiplat but most of all the other games from Bethesda and ActivisionBlizzard should have been exclusive especially the single player ones. Only way i'll ever be ok with this is if this opens the door to no more exclusives on either platform, but i can't see that happening. I guess it's finally time to just make the full scale jump to PC. Very unfortunate since i've been on Xbox since 2001 and most of my games are on Xbox.

So there really is no reason to own an Xbox. Microsoft insists on calling all devices that play their games an Xbox ("Your phone is an Xbox"), but that's just brand marketing nonsense. While expanded sales are all good for Microsoft's bottom line, it doesn't help sell more Xboxes or improve the Xbox ecosystem. The Xbox console is dead, they've invalidated any remaining reason for its own existence. All its exclusives are going multi-plat, just wait until you can purchase Game Pass on a PlayStation. And it's not like Sony or Nintendo are going to be gracious enough to share their exclusives with Xbox, either. Don't think for a second that this is a two-way street.

And also think of it like this: since Xbox has no reason to exist on its own, sales and ownership of Xboxes will only continue to stall or even shrink. Some third party studios, especially small or mid sized ones, are going to look at the Xbox install base and the PlayStation install base, and they're just going to say it doesn't make economical sense for them to make an Xbox port. So Xbox gamers are going to miss out on games that don't even have to be exclusive, and that's because Phil Spencer and Microsoft killed the Xbox.
