When I found local natives, was in 2011. Went through a pretty tough time at 19, had 8k$$ saved up, and left everything. Quit my job and left all my belongings in my locker. Bought a plane ticket 30min before it took off and landed in Spokane Washington. Lived with this girl in her car and another couple slept in their car. Around this time, I found local natives. Partied every day and blew through that 8k$$ in 3 weeks. Gave money away, bought people food, gas, drugs, alcohol etc hahaha. Well, I’m 31 now and even though I make great money, I miss the people and the lost adventures life took me on. It’s been a nostalgic day for me…. Don’t know if I should be happy or sad… mixed emotions 🤣

I lived in Santa Barbara for around 4 years, I used to listen to this beautiful song on the PCH to LA, full blast, windows open, Pacific Ocean to the right. Sunshine and blue skies. Pure bliss. Thank you.

I return to this song all the time. Every few years and I need to experience this gentle anxiety that undelies a gauze thin blanket of normalcy again. Discordant but not disorganized. Toeing the line between function and disfunction. This song is an anxiety attack with wisdom.
