Someone help me understood why people listen to what athletes think and say. Athlete’s lives are based on being the best with balls. Though I do appreciate they beat a lot of people to get in their position.

Fans & the media alike because of his antics ... there’s a time & place for everything & people large 95% easily DO NOT WANT POLITICS IN THE SPORTS WORLD in large part , if it’s something that’s minor & isn’t gonna bring chaos & a media circus with it people generally will look past it but when your going to a game to watch the freaking game & it’s more of a debate yes people don’t want that shit & for good reason ... the NFL is not racist AT ALL & throwsa parks Netflix special comparing the draft to slave traders selling slaves bolsters the fact that throwsa it’s a complete moron & a race baiter who’s more divisive than anything , he divides people with everything he does & he does it for self interest ... he wants to be a modern day civil rights hero & it’s just not working & what’s his motives behind it??? Because one could say he had a failing NFL career & knew the clock was ticking & instead of fading into obscurity & being unrelevant he decides to be a civil rights hero for personal & financial gain because his talents weren’t gonna bring the same incentives ... because that’s the way it looks !!!

🚨 🚨🚨I wouldn’t expect anything else from both these idiots ... shoulda brought shay shay Shannon sharpe & the entire good morning football crew all & had a entire show bashing the nfl because there’s not a 50/50 percentage of minorities & majorities in the nfl like that’s even possible .... & to the idiots I’ve named because of this the NFL is apparently racist & don’t even ask throwsa parks aka Colin kap what his opinion is because it’s so rediculously absurd it’s comical & can’t even taken seriously... yes him comparing the draft to slave traders selling slaves is a complete joke & bolsters the fact that he’s just a complete moron... it’s not even slightly comparable ... even low paid nfl athletes are paid handsomely & live very very comfortably considering their being paid to do a job they for the most part love & have a passion for ... most people would love to get paid to do what they love so it’s moronic to compare the two & I could keep going & going on how rediculous the comparison is but it would take to long , sports are a temporary relief from politics, yes it’s great to be engaged , but politics are also very toxic at times & there’s a time & place for everything & when your just looking for a moment of escape from the chaos of modern day life it’s a shame we have idiots throwing it back in everyone’s face especially the hard working tax payers that work hard to pay to watch a game not paying to watch a debate & for these idiots to keep ruining that small escape that a lot of normal everyday people find in sports is a complete shame ... what’s Stephen Colbert know about sports anyways???? The only the dude talks about is the evil orange man & now that the orange goon is gone his show like the rest of the idiots on late night television their ratings have dropped to embarrassing levels & still th can’t seem to put the 2 together ... the general public is sick & tired of the extreme bubble like views of these idiots on both sides of the isle , literally everyone’s freaking sick of it , the local news is about the only time you can find unbiased news anymore & still sometimes that’s not even true but compared to the mainstream media it’s night & day & for politics to have invaded the sports room it’s like the last straw ... the NFL is absolutely 100% NOT RACIST AT ALL , the reason no one wanted kap in their locker room is because of the politics !!! He’s a freaking distraction & his talents by far DONT outweight the distractions he would bring , he would be a cancer to a locker room because it would turn into a circus & for what?? A back up roll ?? What would happen if all the black players of every sport gathered together to create independent leagues and all the fans who love to watch these athletes play, support them in those leagues? Would the NFL, NBA, MLB, USTA, Olympics, etc., be the same or would these newfound leagues actually severely disrupt those which blackball players who call for equality and their sick little games (ands I don't mean the actual sport)?

I think that trump keeps beaking off about the NFL because he still wants to have a team, and probably has fantasies that everybody would say he cleaned up the NFL (of peaceful protests), and made it profitable again, or some such nonsense. The problem with Kaepernick isn't his views, but the fact that he was voicing/demonstrating his views during the game on company time. It's like if a performer on Broadway smuggled in a political demonstration during a musical number. Your freedom of speech is filtered by your workplace, and if you don't like it then you probably won't continue working for a particular employer.
