Brady come up to me, a huge man had tears in his eyes. Mr president thanks for calling us, taking time out of your golf game really means a lot
To us.

EP is coming back soon, he had rly bad injury that that made it difficult for him to play. HES coming back soon just wait and he should leave vancouver trash fans and go to a club that can win stanley cup

Petterson needs to stay benched thrown in the minors til he learns to play again simple.

Pettersson to Calgary for Huberdeau

@canadasugardaddysugardaddy1797 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Best to trade Petey now before his no trade clause kicks in or you will have another JT Miller situation where he was only willing waive his no trade to go to NY

@dirtbagzrus February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Hughes is in for sure!

You can defend Petterson's play at the 4 Nations Cup; however, it's only a continuation of his lacklustre performance all season. That's been his only consistency.

Martin Buron is spouting the same BS as Canucks management about Elias Petterson. "Take a deep breath" — ?? Canucks fans have been doing that all season, and Petterson has totally failed to live up to his huge contract and superstar expectations. So now we are supposed to wait till next year, and maybe then Petterson will show us why he's the 5th Highest Paid player in the NHL? Or maybe the year after? Unfortunately I do not believe he will ever live up to the big money. The player we are seeing now is the one he has become. He isn't fast and he isn't very strong in his physical game, and most important he isn't a dynamic power skater like Quinn Hughes and Connor McDavid, Mackinnon, etc. That's a prime requirement for a franchise superstar. Yes, he can be very good, but he is just not a superstar like the other big name elite players he is compared to. Canucks management have made another big mistake.

Overpaying for mediocrity, is that how you win a cup Biron?

@IamSteady1 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

This take on EP40 is rubbish! Yes, IF (and this is a huge if) he returns to a P/PG player this is team is salvageable. But what are the chances of that?…especially since he currently sits at .69 P/PG with 117 players scoring at a better rate? He is a very bad bet for the future of this franchise. This is notwithstanding character issues. He will eventually have to depart. Keeping him and trading Miller has has sent this team back half a decade (at minimum).

Cheat all you want USA>>> See yah THURSDAY!!!!

@StephenConantJohnson February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

I hope Quinn does play. He's a one man advertisement for hockey watching him play and frankly, I'd love to see at least one Vancouver Canuck make a difference in these games. Kevin Lankinen had an average game against Sweden and a poor one against Canada and Elias Petterssen….. well…. yeah.

@phlou65 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

EP is Loui Eriksson 2.0

@Matt-nj1yh February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Here's hoping Hughes gets injured again and EP40 returns pointless and causes the Canucks to lose the Wild Card spot!

@jon8004 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Martin Biron has the icy peepers of a White Walker.

@LeonExile05 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Vancouver should make a trade for Laine before Carolina does. lol Give Pettersson someone to work with and improve with. Both of them are having issues and could use a partner to help.

@TerryMcLean-tg1jq February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Has he seen Petterson play in Vancouver 😂😂he absolutely sucks

Anonymous February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

the most highly paid invisible player for his nhl team, then he shows up for sweden and actually starts to play? the canucks got grifted.

@hornedlobster February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Which American D is gonna get "injured" to let Hughes in the line up XD

@davesmith7993 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

No one is tougher on Petey than he is. He's been a fierce competitor his entire life so there must be something wrong with him physically. He already said his knee tendonitis prevented him from training as usual last summer. Petey like the Sedins ALWAYS came into camp testing in the best shape of the entire team (including in Travis Green's infamous bag skates)! Something is wrong physically!

@fishinfrenzy2544 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Faber gonna get injured in practice today🤣

@MarkR1111 February 22, 2025 - 2:57 pm

Petey hasn’t done anything the last year since signing his massive contract.. people need to stop using baby gloves on him! He has the largest total contract in the hole NHL! And the 5th highest yearly contract. Enough is enough. He better be off the Canucks team by July 1st
