Jannik Sinner has accepted an immediate three-month ban from tennis after reaching a settlement with the World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) over his two positive drug tests last year.

The 23-year-old Italian won the Australian Open last month but will now be suspended from February 9 until May 4, meaning he will be able to feature at the French Open which starts on May 19.

No performance enhancing no ban……….
As simple as that

No threshold exceed no ban……….
As simple as that.

@Elkana888 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Just imagine if the same thing happened to Novak Djokovic. The biased Western media would crucify him. He would also receive a minimum two-year ban, and the same excuses Sinner uses would be dismissed as lies and fabrications by the same Western media.

Shame on the clowns here defending a drug cheat 💉 AUS open GS should be given to Zverev

A Spanish figure skater was given a 6-year suspension for using the same cream and testing positive twice.

@Ganacciworld February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Tennis officially died for me today. there can be no deals. positive is positive 0.00% tolerance. Sorry to the Sinner fans but your champion will never be able to redeem his career with this deal.

@thomaspeiker5577 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Ein Jährchen Pause hätte Sinner und Swiatek gut getan, um mal zu überlegen, was für Geschichten Sie Uns auftischen 👍

@raneri60 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Guys, just read the WADA sentence, it is easy, even a child can do it! Sinner was not doped, it was a stupid mistake from his staff. Shut up with this BS once and for all!

@richardtorres1324 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

BOOOOOOooooooooo!!!!!!!!
J.s. @ every tourney.

Like ITIA, WADA recognises no intention, no knowledge and no advantage from Sinner's positive test, they recognise the explanation for the contamination, and WADA ASKED SINNER to accept a plea bargain. Sinner was already docked points & money PLUS having to skip several Masters 1000 (etc.) means losing out on millions of dollars, plus not being able to train properly until May. And all this for something ALL BODIES recognises isn't his doing. Remember WADA was seeking the application of 1-2 YEARS suspension. , which would've been NUTS.
WADA had a POLITICAL interest in prosecuting (to uphold the principle that ANY contamination is 'doping') & offered a plea because they risked TAS ruling against them which would further clobber their already crappy reputation.
Sinner faced an uncertain outcome over an uncertain period of time (TAS is a RE-TRIAL from scratch) with a potential career-destroying punishment for an ACCIDENT.
Henman like everyone else should keep quiet until they're read up on the issue. dammit.

@ComputerPro-AJ February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

So maybe they timed it so that he doesn't miss a grand slam to lighten the punishment, so what?!

@paulvonauth7254 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

what a JOKE, be real, he's cheating, PATHETIC!,

@cbp117 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Why are people expressing themselves without having full knowladge on whats going on… its amazeballs 😅😂

@imhungry9266 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

They have to give the prize 🏆 to the player who was games with

@Comatosedpeanut February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Sinners Australian open win will always have an asterisk next to it now. Cheat.

@nikolaygramchev February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

GUCCI, La Roche-Posay, De Cecco pasta, Lavazza, Alfa Romeo, Parmigiano Reggiano, and NIKE, HEAD (of course) – hihihihih! And ATP Business boss is Italian and the big boss is Italian! What a shame!

@LePopester February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Can you imagine the H2H on Sinner/Henman😂😂😂?

@ClaberCB February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

This is a total witch hunt

@BertieBron February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

“Former British number one Tim Henman” who never won a grand slam and who is insanely jealous of the true champion known as Yannick Sinner😂

@dibari6 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Hey Tim, what about Greg Rudeski that in 2004 was cleared after having found positive to Nandrolone by direct ingestion of pills at a level 100 times more that in the case of Sinner? At that time you did not state it was "too convenient" but: "I don't think he's the type of person who would take something because he's been around the game for such a long time." That reminds what Taylor Fritz said in a recent interview:
"If it's a rival of the player you support, you want them branded as a cheater. But if it's your favorite player, it's all about innocence without question."

@ndk4 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Receiving 3 months ban without disrupting his grand slam routine, is not a big news

@patriciafiler1875 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

I don’t understand if you are caught doping and has won championships titles should the player give back those trophies.

@teragramlawrence2864 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

A disgrace to sport he is. Another cheater

@angeloscigliano339 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Fatevi una ragione, sinner a un anno che surclassa tutti di gran lunga ,e antidoping lo anno fatto sempre risultato pulito ,mangiate il fegato😂😂😂😂😂😂

@doba7301 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

😂😂😂

@JohnDoe-xt7xl February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Sinner first stood by his team and after they defended him and he avoided a lengthy ban he sacked them all. So this is all very fishy. And if you're innocent why did he accept the deal? There were similar cases to his and Swiatek's and bans were considerably longer.

@angele810 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Criticize WADA all you want but please leave Sinner out of it. He has suffered enough.

@samat2003 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

The sentence was served and could have been much heavier, Sinner was right to accept… Ultimately, these are not many days of stoppage. February is a short month, it's just March and April. In May he is already on the track… WADA is a bandwagon that should be dismantled, they have too much power, it is clear that they have saved themselves once again from a worldwide media attack.

The WADA system is rotten and corrupt is evident…. It doesn't take a genius to figure it out.

@samat2003 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

@pascalfl2610 February 22, 2025 - 10:53 am

Sinner is lucky to get a chance to take suspension right now so he can be back for Roland Garros. Suspension should include at least two Grande Slams
