I'm not a serious Gamer who knows the ins and outs of Video game machines, but I've never had PS4 before and the pro is my first PS4 ever. Just got it today for Christmas. It's still in the box, tell ya later how everything went. 😂
With the right set up the games look amazing and can see a clear difference in performance

I do not think it is worth the money, the time taken to load games and switch betweenmenus in the games seems no better than the PS2. It is intolerably slow. The games seems to run ok but the slowness in menu loading and switching is pathetic. Be warned, the experience to use is extremely slow and frustrating. My machine was the new Pro (Aug 2017) with only 3 games installed and no heavy usage of ram or hard disc capacity.

Let me tell u one thing gaming in 4k with HDR on is LOUD!!!
Not owning a console, this seems the best buy if I want a PS4. I do have a 4k HDR TV but also play on regular HD tv's too, the thing drawing me to the Pro is newer games may struggle a bit more on a base ps4. Surely the Pro is a little more future proof.
Just to let all unaware gamers know, the PS4 Pro will only be "the world's most powerful console" until this upcoming summer where the arrival of the next Xbox, codenamed "Project Scorpio" will take the title. Xbox will (actually already do*¹) boast 6 teraflops of power whereas the PS4 Pro is lacking power with only 4 teraflops. *¹ Go ahead and search "Project Scorpio Digital Foundry" to find out how much progress has been made so far on Scorpio along with its recently revealed specifications.

i tried uncharted 4 and titanfall 2 and dishonred they all look the same on base ps4 and the pro

I bought ps4 pro not even a month a go and I have to send it to get repaired I don't want a repaired ps4 pro I want it replaced Sony customer support is crappy I don't think that a month old PlayStation should be repaired it should just be replaced because it's barely a month old

The original ps4 was already outdated with its lack of 4k. Now they release a new console that 'sort of' play 4k. I bet In 2 years another ps4 will come out that actually plays proper 4k. lacks forward thinking.
