(Unreal Update #1) I wanted to challenge myself to take UE5 serious, and work on it for a full week. Here’s how I ended up with my first person character model.
(I underestimated how much footage to get for this challenge so some of the footage was filmed after this week)

Btw, for now stick with blueprints. Once you get comfortable with blueprints, learning C++ for Unreal will be so much easier. And for now following tutorials for various mechanics is ok to learn the engine, but down the line you're going to want to do things "correctly". Many tutorials often teach how to do things with poor practices. But this is something you'll cross when you get there.
Keep it up, you're doing really well for your first week!
