Today is not only a new episode day, it's my first day of graduate school! I'll have more details soon, but for now, enjoy Sony's Three Biggest Mistakes! This was a fun episode to make, since it got me nostalgic for my college days, working at GameStop. Enjoy!
there was also the firmware update that made consoles unplayable
PS3 is the goat.
I remember when the PSN was hacked and they made all games on the store free for a day. I missed it by a few hours and seen the message say something like “we’re sorry for the inconvenience” blah blah blah. Crazy how Sony still came back with 2 more consoles after this and people still are buying it
4th mistake: CEOs & Live Service tarantella + PS5 Pro
"I will work more hours to buy one" is a crazy thing to suggest as a Japanese businessman
Uncle Bill was behind those attacks on Sony
They wont be releasing ps6, there will no longer be anymore games.
No more consoles, the evil people hate it too much they will never let us have it, all they want is money.
The psn hack got me a free copy of last of us as compensation… it was totally worth it.
Oh the "baby" ad…wtf was that ?!? I remember that. Love the p0rn music
The PlayStation handhelds got a lot right, but the few things they got wrong were REALLY, REALLY wrong.
Proprietary hardware, the PSP not having a right stick, useless gimmicks (Vita cell service???) like what the hell kinda drugs was the handheld department on???
The reason that I chose the PS3 over the Xbox 360 was that PSN was free and I thought that charging to play online was greedy. Once the PS4 got rid of that, plus lack of backwards incompatibility, it became my last Sony console, now I’m all PC Master Race, and own a Steam Deck.
3. ripoff and lies.
2. yeah, it's the blu ray tech. that kind of mess sony up.
1. sony fought back, hackers fought back harder.
1: Not porting Bloodborne to PC.
2: Not commissioning Fromsoftware to make a sequel to Bloodborne.
3: Not making a 60 FPS patch for Bloodborne on PS4 Pro and PS5.
Life is so cold without you, my love.
You ended up doing the big 4 in alphabetical order lol
Oh boy now is 4 biggest mistakes with Concord
Sony understands the market they just don’t CARE! Greed and lack of caring is what drives them to make stupid decisions especially when they feel untouchable.
i got 3 red ring of deaths on my new xbox 360’s which of course microsoft would send me a replacement and all had same rrd issue, when i finally got sent a good one i disconnected everything and took it to gamestop along with games accessories hd dvd drive and all and traded everything in for a ps3 and games, never looked back, i’ve been with sony since before i never had a ps1 or ps2.
Didn't care for the Vita when I got it for Xmas, played a little, threw it in a drawer for 3 years. One day I thought "lets google Vita memory card SD adapter" and BAM!!! I modded it using the Ape Escape exploit, got the adapter on eBay and transfered my PSP games. I got alot of milage out of it.
I miss the historian 😢
