Leave your suggestions in the comments and I’ll be sure to put them together for another list of Orthodox athletes!

Love seeing Saint Nestor here. I go to Saint Demetrios Parish.

@TurkBaykal February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

vasyl lomachenko, illia topuria, merab dvalishvili, arguably greatest of all time in their respective divisions.

I think it's very important to note, the reason Tyson beat wilder, was because he declared that being found in the light of Christ, he would not fear those who live in the darkness. This was after wilder mentioned having a ancestral spirit. Wilder was perhaps a better boxer, but fury got up rom a BRUTAL KO to win the fight. Obviously, the new champ is orthodox.

Honestly, Ivan Provorov helped make me become Orthodox. Glory to God for all things.

@V4nillakid February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

@kostatasoulis9720 February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

I’m sorry brother. You left a lot of great orthodox athletes out. I’d consider remaking.

Also not 100% sure is Giannis is orthodox, but maybe he is? Idk haven’t heard him profess it.

@biljanaparipovic2708 February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

I watched the video just to see if Novak Djokovic was going to be there. 😄 You passed the test 😅

Topuria , Dvalishvili, Talakhadze, Saginashvili , Iliadis (Zviadauri) , Bekauri , Kvaratskhelia , etc

@nicos1676 February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

No Fedor Emelianenko or Aleksandr Karelin?? They are considered the Greatest of all time in their sports. Instead you put a black immigrant as "greek". I mean, nothing against the guy, but skipping the biggest legends just to put a diversity quota is not a good look.

@InIchor February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

What do you mean when you say 'Every Orthodox Christian is an athlete'?
I thought that was a really interesting statement.

@xxrandmlinksxxbruh2419 February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

Where’s Fedor Emilianenko😡

@aleksandrsolzhenitsyn694 February 17, 2025 - 10:33 am

This guy who made the video has no idea about orthodox athletes
