“After more than 20 years of EA Sports football titles, the cracks in this series are no longer subtle—they’re threatening its foundation. FC 25 takes steps forward, introducing some interesting new features such as the fast-paced and compelling Rush mode, but much of the package beyond that continues to feel overly familiar. Gameplay tweaks that are heading in the right direction don’t stop it from being stale and uninteresting this year, and struggles with a clunky, touchscreen-inspired UI bog everything down. Rush is the best thing to happen to the series in years, but even that can’t fully mask the prominent underlying problems.”

Just playing this, geez the defense is worse. Players can fkn run through with ease. A lot of big gaps open up at the back four when the offense is vreaking through. It looks like they're going backwards with this sht.

A ball that sticks to the player like this is a game from 1991 is wild in 2025.

Being able to hold buttons and the AI take over and defend for you is crazy. Literally not having a clue what way your opponent is deciding to go but the AI tracking it. How is that even playing a game?

Football games have been in the toilet since the collapse of Pro Evo. FIFA was really good until about 2014. It’s been unbelievably bad for a decade now but with no competition or alternative.

Honestly I can't blame people for criticizing the game because when it comes to casual players those are their remarks on the game but for those who actually take time to see what is new would see changes to player positioning, tackles, dribbles and headers which feels less robotic and more realistic. Animations are smoother each year with minimal glitches in movements. Please people ea FC spend millions just for this to happen we are talking of hypermotion technology imagine making sure that the take samples of real world players just to make this game feel more down to earth and I honestly think people don't see the bigger picture

I think they should just work with the Fifa 19 mechanics and take away the bugs and overpowered first time finesse shots, improve the servers and responsiveness etc rather than keep making changes for the worse

why cant soccer games like this be in the third person view (eg unchatered, infamous son etc) instead of side scrolling all the time. I would like it if you see the back of the player and run forward, back, side to side. its would be more fun.

The game isn’t good. The UI is over saturated with unnecessary information it takes about 30min to get to play a match. N then the game play is atrocious, the user defenders can’t sprint, always out of position, easily beaten , headers just aren’t a thing anymore, pc teams always play man to man marking full pitch like damn man this game is just not good. I’m going back to fifa 23 tbh this fc thing needs 5yrs to get back to fifa standard (n yes fifa wasn’t the best but at least it was consistent n mildly enjoyable)

This is the first Football game I got after FIFA 13. So, for me almost everything is new. Last time I played was when my favourite club Man Utd won the EPL. 😅

The new tactics system works in a sim like FM, but just exists to ensure boredom and frustration in FC 25. For the first time since FIFA 94, I've gone back to last years version

The worst FIFA I’ve ever played in my life. Honestly, I’d like a refund for how bad it is. I went back to playing FC24 because this game is unbelievably bad. The gameplay is awful, the build-up play, the marking—everything is terrible. It’s a shame because I’ve been buying FIFA or now FC every year for over 10 years. Next year, I’ll download the demo or, unbelievably, go back to PES.

Bruh. FC25 is one of the worst games I've ever played.
Also, I do not understand why they're forcing female players into our lists.
I do not mind the female players if someone wants to have them. But what if I just DO NOT WANT any female players popping up in my club. I'm just not interested in female players even if they're high stats. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought fifa 23 and it was a very good game, but recently bought fc25 expecting a better quality, but its garbage, horrible graphics, it looks like a free game in the app store. Worst 20 dollars spent in a game. I wanted a refund but nintendo switch estore doesnt give you one.

I remember a time when IGN had good and interesting reviews of 5-8 minutes. Now reviews (for some reason) are long and boring and I find it difficult to finish these videos.

I see many commend on how people criticize FCIQ, how some ai players run back to their position instead of join the attack momentum. For me, of cause in real life players should join the attacking momentum regarding their position, some people may think that is idea of FCIQ. However, as my opinion i think the purpose of FCIQ is to make the game mor manual. It mean that the game and strategy isn't just about put right players in right position anymore, you need to manually assign their role to influent their behavior and the manual controller that you can tell the player to run or to come for the pass. I think that is interesting concept for those players who enjoy exploring making football strategy.
