I don't undestand why everyone just applaud him, like he did very well. I am sorry but for me you can't broke your present home pretending you want to fix your past.
He could have make amend for his daughter and his ex without broking his home.
He should have put his wife in the confidence since the beginning and not leave her alone and give her attitude. For me it's just an unfaithful and irresponsible husband.

Communication is one of the indispensable factors for a successful marriage. Linda said Patrick used to be a sweet husband ( an intentional man if you ask me) Most persons have an ugly past and all Patrick could have done was to open up to his wife. That was all she asked. It wasn't too much. But Patrick made it look as if Linda was wrong wanting to know the reason for her husband change of mood. Patrick was absolutely wrong for that. And then you brought in your supposed family without discussing with your wife, and even lied about your relationship with them? Oh common! Patrick brought out the beast in Linda. Even if you don't want Linda as your wife, that is a very disrespectful and condescending way to go about it. People indeed become bad because of how they were treated.
And Linda also burnt herself when she invite her single friend into her marital problem.

A movie packed full of lesson. But i repel this story line. I hate injustice and unfairness.

This story line is so annoying

You see some of married woman always make wrong friend and the end that same friend put them into troubles. Is not everything you are supposed to tell a friend that is not married. There is a big lesson to learn from this movie. Treating people well in wife matters a lot
