Although the uniqueness of the missions and the overall design was outstanding and the campaign is way better than what we've seen in recent years, I feel like this game loses its sense of identity. It goes from spy FPS to Resident Evil and Bioshock vibes. It is trying to do so many things at once. The missions in which you had to sneak around like tide playing hitman were great, and the scary ones. The uniqueness and design of missions is the best in the series, but it's trying to do too many things at once. Also, the plot was confusing and not very interesting. It would be so cool to see a horror treyarch game

since ghosts came into existence i have had a strong hatred fir call of duty. everything went commercial and anything to do with online has been filled with rainbows and goofy comical skins and characters. unrealistic and childish in nature. completely losing its sense of purpose. im hoping before i play fir the first time this will be a sense of relief

Black Ops 6 feels like such a departure from what made Call of Duty games great in the past. The classic fast-paced gameplay, tight map designs, and memorable campaigns have been replaced by mechanics that feel more like they belong in a different game entirely. While innovation is good, this one strays too far from the roots of the franchise, losing that unique Call of Duty identity that made the earlier games so iconic. It’s disappointing to see the series lose focus on what made it special to so many fans.

I was having fun in the campaign until the zombies showed up. I am honestly thinking about just down right stopping the campaign mode. I'm just not feeling it. I'm not a zombies fan and I always avoid the zombies game modes and now it's in the campaign. I'm really not feeling this game now.


EDIT:: After watching your review on the game I quit the camping mode. Not what I was looking for in a game. I'll stick to a more war like game. Ugh.

Only reason bo6 sucks is because it has too many black people, and the main villain is a woman 😭 even the side character thats a women is completely useless for the storyline overall if they took the women and black characters out this bo6 would’ve been a way better game

My brother told me that this game sucked but noooooo, I had to try it out. THIS GAME SUCKS! It doesn’t feel like COD at all. I don’t want to solve puzzles or shoot zombies throughout the campaign.

You're also the reason the devs keep putting shit like this in the game.. this isn't cod this is dying light, resident evil, battlefield shit even fucking minecraft. the amount of bullshit i've seen in the campaign is crazy. theres a mission that you literally huff gas and think ur killing zombies and you think this is a good campign?

So they only had like one historical event in a black ops game… that’s crazy. And barely. This is a regular call of duty game. The first black ops had bay of pigs and Vietnam plus other historical events. This have the gulf war and what one glimpse of a president. The trailer was misleading af.

well yeah this campaign was one of the worst shooter single player I to this day have played.
it was boring, had a bunch of out of place zombie shit that was not even well executed.
at no point was this interesting the psychedelic shit also felt out of place and took you out of the actual shooter game, felt like playing 3 or 4 different games.
quite a shame really as there are good qualities to it like the weapon handling and feedback from them the animations are spot on and while the graphics are not top notch they are fine enough to not draw away from the action.
sound was good and the voices actors did a fine job, mind you that you do have to go into a multiplayer game to enable the voices in the single player (please explain that one to me lol)

Imo pantheon is more or less like persheus, so an idea. For the sequel i guess case would be the or one of the bad guys. But sequel is rumored to be a follow up on bops 2 so I guess we will never know

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought this way. The ending was just so anti climactic. Every other Black Ops game has a massive battle right before the end. To me, the airport didn't cut it. Neither did Checkmate. Especially not how little of a threat Harrow was and how little they needed her when Case unceremoniously died with her.

Gameplay was incredible from start to finish, but the campaign as a whole left something to be desired.

Also, BO1 had twice as many missions 🤷

One of the worst campaign in COD history... I felt like I was playing some Farcry game and it was just awful. COD is about having these heart stopping missions, and deep story line.. not this open world, solve the puzzle, side quest maps.. and damn boss battles... horrible
