Read the book long time back. Brilliant book. Glad Google maps did not exist at that time, this story would never have been told!
When this film came out it was one of the biggest and most expensive flops. Awful casting . Read the book and you will understand.

I had never seen this movie. Loved it. What a dark comedy.
Why do I always see the title as: Bonfire of the Vampires?ЁЯШЕ
I havenтАЩt read the book; but, the movie with fantastic actors and dialogue was terrific. Sorry to say this, but, itтАЩs a movie for our time highlighting the immorality of the political arena and those journalists and media complicit with them.
The first scene where Bruce Willis appears is a wonderful one-shot long take typical of director De Palma.

Toda una gran comed├нa en quedar en la historia del cine como referencia de la tergiversaci├│n de los hechos en procura de fines oscuros, que se ve aqu├н de manera tan tragic├│mica. Siendo el discurso del personaje de Morgan Friedman toda una gran sentencia sobre lo que debe ser la ley en su justa medida y no as├н una conveniencia ocasional.

It's great to see Bruce Willis in these older roles in his acting career and I do feel he wouldn't "survive" Hollywood if he didn't turn to action & thriller movies later on. It's almost unreal to watch him in this movie today
