Upset that Sports Interactive still hasn’t released FM25? Never fear! The community has released a new and very improved match engine.

Kudos to them for modding it though, will watch with interest.
You mentioned them haha... tremendous
The mod modifies values in the file that controls the game's physics.
Obviously, the match engine bases its calculations on physics (among other things), so this mod affects how match outcomes are determined—but only for leagues calculated in full detail - as for those simulated using quick simulation, a different match engine is used.
I simulated 10 seasons to test the mod, and the difference is clear: teams score about 10-20 more goals on average. So, this is definitely not a mod for those who already thought there were too many goals in the vanilla ME.
The visual impact is immediate, already from the first game you will notice that “something has changed”.
it is very nice to see how it changes, for example, the way of kicking the ball, the movement of the leg after a shot or a cross, very natural, almost copied from real football.
even the saves of the goalkeepers are more realistic, or the blocks made by defenders on the shots of the attackers.
The improvement is resounding, it feels like a new game.
Important specification: the file does not change the match engine, that remains unchanged. What changes is the graphical interpretation of those numerical calculations. And it is definitely an improvement over the previous version.
Considering that FM 25 will suck (assuming it comes out) this file could be our salvation in sight of another year spent playing FM 24.
A powered low header that the keeper saves would be amazing
