This is why the console war is getting boring and I'm falling off. You hear over and over this doesn't count, that doesn't count, this is unfair, etc. Then when the other side follows suit and it's fine and counts. There is no consistancy with the rules. It's like arguing with a 5 year old. It happened with Palworld too.
Also what is with games like ninja gaiden 2 getting remastered in 2022 and remade in 2025 and people are kissing xbox's feet but a remaster of a game comes out in 2014 and it is remade in 2022 (the last of us) it's litterly worse than cancer. No consistancy.

How about we just play game. It benefits all gamers of whatever platform they own. They get to play their favorite game

Phil said he started talks to develop Ninja Gaiden 4 6 or 7 years ago and they funded the development. So I'd say it is 2nd party but I understand what Aaron Greenburg means by 1st party cause the term "2nd party" is never actually used by platform holders

Its weird to me, most people only care for it because it was announced as an xbox game, ive not seen people go this weird for a game in ages especially platinum games, bayo 3, wonderful 101 when it first launched and astral chain even tho they were all top notch titles, never had this many people talking about them. Lol

I hate the bias from both xbox, ps and sony fans to the point they ignore gsmes because they think the switch is for children. Lol

In the end tho ninja gaiden 4 is probably gonna come out and be forgotten about just as quickly as everyone is to talk about it being shown at the xbox direct, its just a content creator atm, for both sides in this fanboy war.

Also nintendo published ninja gaiden 3 originally that wasn't first party tbh, i doubt it means they own ninja gaiden now as eventually they lost it were as Astral chain and bayonetta are because they helped create them, I don't think ms is helping create ninja gaiden 4 at all its mainly just platinum.

Ninja gaiden 5 could be published by a completely different studio they have another studio working on a 2d one as well.

The last thing was is the trailer even said team ninja chose platinum games to work with them, for this title.

The first 3 gears of war were made by epic studios, but published by Microsoft.
