Something wasn’t right. It started with a smell—faint at first, but growing stronger each day. For three whole days, a body remained inside a Planet Fitness—completely unnoticed. The gym continued to operate as usual, with people coming in and out, all while the unsettling truth lingered in the background. When the discovery was finally made, questions began swirling. How was it overlooked for so long? And as theories spread, some began to wonder—was the body deliberately hidden?

Also, his car moving is weird to me I think maybe the lady just misremembered.
I bet you he overdosed and died in there.
The machines have timers. They shut off after 20 minutes. Period. That's not to say that they dont malfunction. but the things don't lock. you can push up and get out.
They have spray bottles and paper towels in each room to clean them yourselves, but I would always just use the stand up bed, stand on dry paper towels I laid down, and then throw them away after cause i wasn't about to even try to clean those rubber mats you stand on. So dirty.
The level of NEGLIGENCE!
For THREE DAYS!
The smell of a rotting corpse completely ignored by the ENTIRETY of staff.
Who's the Management?
Who is the sociopath running the place!?
What was the Manager planning to do with the body?
And who moved the car?
And why?
That means somebody got into his locker and helped themselves to his keys.
Also, PF is s franchise. so it is the owner of that particular gym who is negligent in his or her due diligence. Making sure their staff is following all PF requirements.
As a planet fitness member or 2 years I can attest to my gym. This gym obviously has a poor manager and staff. MY GYMS MANAGER IS SO AWESOME. SHE IS ON TOP OF EVERYTHING. WHEN SHE IS NOT ON SHIFT SHE ALWAYS REVIEWS CAMARA FOOTAGE TO MAKE SURE THE STAFF IS DOING THEIR JOB WHEN SHES NOT ON SHIFT.
Disgusting 🤢 so many mistakes happen there…..
Omg
This reminds me of a case from quite a few years back where a woman drowned in a public pool surrounded by people and no one noticed until her body started floating in the middle of the night three days later while some kids had broken in after hours for a swim. In that case it was staff negligence too. The pool was so murky and dirty and gross that there was zero visibility past the water's surface, and a child had seen her sink and never come back up again and immediately ran to a lifeguard, who ignored him and never investigated.
Which location?
Dang! Why not call the cops immediately? Come on!!
I don't wanna b the next person in that bed!
From murders to men going into women's restrooms to people doing in tanning beds. Glad that I never supported PF.
hey spill, you made a typo at 17:22
"Derek Sick"
New sub btw!!
Wow!! I know this story and I think your subs should know how this was "showcased" on major news outlets. Ugh! Nobody has covered this story like this!!!! Great POV… the truth! 💪
Planet fitness is not that big and how they didn't check under the machine ?
They don't walk around facility at end of night, make sure everybody out of building?
Why they didn't find him the first day , alive ?!
How did the girlfriend drive the car home? If everyone is saying he moved the car, did they find the keys with him in the room? If not, then he didn't move it. Sure they could have both have a set if keys, but what are the chances they did? Plus who's word is it that is saying the car was moved 100%, CCTV footage really needs to be found from somewhere.
"Addiction doesn't define a person"…(proceeds to bring up the addiction immediately).
And it's been quite some time since Planet Fitness started requiring patrons to clean the tanning beds by themselves. Since before the pandemic, actually.
They are supposed to wipe them down between uses. Its possible he had a heart attack
But they don't forget to order pizza every Friday.😠
new fear unlocked: tanning machines
The planet fitness that I used to use would have a light switch on the outside that would tell you when the bed was being occupied. This is completely the business’s fault. 72 hours and no one checked that room. The side part is I think it probably was checked, but no one wanted to take blame. I can only imagine the smell.
They are probably understaffed. Not enough staff to do routine checks because companies like to be stingy with their payroll.
How in the world could this franchise leave a man , who has passed away, inside a tanning bed for three and half days!!!! Just shameless and vile. This franchise had a big lawsuit last year as well re men in women's bathroom plus a whole handful of other lawsuits.
😂 the reactions of the Caucasian women are warped.
Hey, hey, hey, it’s a Judgement Free Zone! Guys are Girls, girls are guys, bagels are donuts and pizza is free. He was still warm according to the coroner.🤔🙄
Shows how ofter Planet Fitness cleans their tanning beds. They should be cleaned between each use
My condolences and can I just say that suspicions are high here in the UK that hair, tanning and nail salons are a cover for criminal activity, that they exist(not them all thankfully) to launder money from that but also some sell drugs directly to users in there, it's been known for years but sadly like the PF case no action is taken.
The coroner says- excellent shape and fit for a coffin.
No one smelled anything burning ??
