I finished Persona 5 tactica last year that was great. I played the demos for Unicorn Overlord and Vision of Mana can’t wait to play the full game. Stellar Blade is on my list too!
Thanks for calling to support Stellar Blade. I bought it now. Also got Ys X nordics, oh man, so beautiful to me. (but youtube, why you say East 10 Norway? They should make a game of that now? like insane quarantine future dystopia society in norway and breaking out and escaping aimlessly and going out in the way-north wilderness?)
Can’t wait for them to finally remake Luigi’s Mansion 1 for the Switch or Switch 2
Unicorn Overlord, Metaphor Refantazio and Balatro
Finally got Metaphor: ReFantazio. I knew it wasn't going to be a great looking game but damn, one of the worst looking games I've played in the last decade.
2024 is a great year for JRPG fan ! My GOTY this year is Wukong, but Metaphor and FF7 Rebirth are masterpiece ! Love Atlus, love Square Enix, love JPRG ! What a year !
Mine is DQ3 remake, what a game that is!
Playing RDR2 again but on ps5 this time. A true masterpiece!
Where´s NHL 25?
For traditional jrpg fans, eiyuden chronicle hundred heroes seems to have been way under the radar. It's making me very excited for the upcoming suikoden remaster.
Nice list!
I would add Sea of Stars to my list! what a fun game. I only count physical release dates
😀
Great video. My favorite games of the year tekken 8 and dragonball sparking zero and sonic x shadow
stellar blade costumes, not revealing enough
Black Myth Wulong is not on your list? How come?
I mostly chipped away at my backlog this year so some of my favorites were: Dark Souls 3, Lies of P, Children of Morta, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Fallout: New Vegas, Divinity: Original Sin 1and 2, X-COM: Enemy Uknown, and Dogeball Academia.
I'm glad to see Visions of Mana getting some love. I really enjoyed it, and I hope we get more Mana games that build off its foundations. As a side note, it's also the only game I've ever platinumed. It's pretty rare that a game makes me want to do everything.
Good to still see appreciation of RPGs
Man, Paper Mario TYYD remake felt like a dream
FF7 Rebirth, Astrobot and Wukong. Enjoyed them too much.
Me is Dragon Age Veilguard)
Dragon Quest 3 Remake is my game of the year! Really really good game!!
My GOTY is Space Marine 2. Awesome game.
Why you never talk about wukong???
I just bought Sonic Generations and Prince of Persia earlier. Will be great fun
Did he say bean?
I learned something new today, thanks to this video.
Need time stamps !
I swear it's only me… but the sound of the tank in Sandland does my head in. It's a shame because i enjoy they game
My game of the year is Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. The gameplay is great. The story can be goofy and silly and then incredibly serious. It’s just so fun!
Play Helldivers 2 with Rob, trust me you guys will bond so much over that game…
Wow, no mention for Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom? Im playing that right now and its one of the best, if not the best game ive played this year.
Balatro & Under Night In-Birth 2
It's amazing how polygon graphics can so perfectly capture Akira Toriyama's artstyle.
Space Marines 2 is my number 1
I loved IRON MEAT. A perfect tribute to Contra ❤
Stellar Blade for me
For me my games of the year are Sandland, Metaphor Refantazio, Unicorn Overlord, and Stellar Blade
Found your channel through listening to you on Summon Sign. Love the positive energy! My 2024 game of the year is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth.
Got a PSN Gift Certificate for Christmas. Been trailing all sorts of games today but I think I found my game. Eiyuden Chronicle. Wow this game is hitting me in a good spot.
Mine was Silent Hill 2. There's been a lot of good horror remake of late but this one was on another level of impressive if you ask me. Remaking that was a tall overflowing order, but a studio that was struggling to put out a successful game pulled themselves together, leveled up and did a masterpiece justice. It's inspiring really and is one of those stories that makes me want to try harder on my own artistic pursuits.
Gotta admit I didn't play a ton of new games this year but another that stuck out to me was Another Crab's Treasure. I don't see it get mentioned much anymore but I thought it's take on the souls formula was really smart and made for something that felt pretty different.
A lot of great Japanese RPG love this year.
