Here’s a ukulele tutorial for the Rainbow Connection, as sung by Kermit The Frog in the original Muppets Movie. I think he actually plays a banjo in the movie, so I decided to bust out my DUKE10 banjolele (basically a ukulele that sounds like a banjo) – but if you guys don’t have one of those, a regular uke should sound just fine!
Sign up to the DUKE10 mailing list using my special page: https://www.dukeuke.com/pages/ukulele-teacher – and get access to special offers and discounts, including free shipping and an exclusive t-shirt worldwide over the Black Friday – Cyber Monday weekend!
The songsheet is available as a PDF to all of my Patrons. You can sign up to https://www.Patreon.com/UkeTeacher for as little as $1 a month and get a songsheet with every lesson, as well as each video at least 24 hours before the rest of the world.

1) Don't bother with the single down strum after the finger picking since it's not in the original song.
2) Just use E7 instead of E (E7 sounds fine in this song) and don't bother with the barred D, just use easy D.
3) Replace the B minors with D. I noticed when the notes shifted up a semitone towards the end the only one that didn't make sense was B minor, since that note becomes E flat. D makes more sense and sounds better.
The harmonic phrase is not 1 6 4 5 (twice). It is 1 6 2 5 3 6 4 5
A f#m bm e - c#m f#m d e
With emphasis on that c#m... It is not only musically important in that place, the melody also carries that note g#
