Yeah, no shit Kaboly.
Nobody is talking about the fact that we had 4 new starters on defense. Elliot, Queen, Wilson(rookie), and Jackson. 21 new quarters, new OC, lost our #1 receiver, didn't replace him despite our efforts. Rookie center, guard, lost our 1st round pick at RT at start of season. Had the toughest schedule in a long time. And we still managed to have a winning season and make the playoffs.

Question about drafting a QB.
What QB's has a Tomlin coaching staff ever DRAFTED or acquired that developed to a high level???
He's "developed" Mason Rudolph, Josh Dobbs, Mitch Trubisky and Kenny Pickett.
Boswell would have to kick 19 field goals to beat Philly. They're awful despite 10-7.
All Wilson does is either get sacked or throw it away .
Buddy on the left does a lot of pointing for a Bills fan who had a much better offensive roster than the Steelers and they still didn't make it to the Superbowl. How in the heck were the Steelers going to get extremely far if they were considerably behind the Bills as far as talent goes just on that side of the ball? Different coach or different OC, it won't matter. It's like saying you can score 50 points with SF playbook in Madden but not need SF players on the roster to make it work. Russ started off 6-1…Tomlin didn't choose the wrong QB. The Steelers talent level got exposed when playing against the teams who were represented in the playoffs. They were significantly better. An elite QB would have pushed this team over the hump. He would have also made up for lack of talent in areas on offense as well. Russ was elite at one point in his career and Justing was never that. He is an elite runner, but not a completely QB. They took the chance on the proven and it paid off by not finishing at the bottom of the AFC where everyone and their momma had the Steelers before the season started. All of the QBs who remained have elite eligibles and have a cohesion with their offense and OC that the Steelers just didn't have this year because they just joined the friggin team. Washington was the only outlier, but I their biggest thing was that they hit on their top 2 QB. Put Daniels on the Steelers this year with no other changes to the roster and we could still be playing.

Don’t reach on a QB keep Fields you want Milroe then just take KJ Jefferson in round 7 or bring him in as a rookie UDFA

Don’t say it’s more plentiful in 2026 when Brady was taken in the 6th rd. Everyone passed on Lamar Jackson. Yeah, Kaboly that’s right…let’s stick with what DIDN’T work the last few years with free agents, Kenny was a bust but at least they tried! Yeah let’s stay with guys we know are failures instead of swinging for the fences. Don’t rooting for this team I’m rooting against them because it’s idiocy from ownership to the coaches to the media.
