Alabama has set the date for the annual A-Day Game for April 12th. This year it will feature Austin Mack and Ty Simpson battling it out for the starting QB job. Mick looks at the game and how this year the QB spot is truly up for grabs.

Austin Mack is the best option. He knows that trash DeBoer offense and he’s got a big arm… Ty is a great kid, but if he’s the starter, it’s gonna be hard for me to believe that

Russell will not be ready to start. If Bryce couldn't beat out Mac, then Russell won't beat out Simpson.

Simpson has looked ready since last drive of USF he caught up to the speed of the game, it was never a QB battle it was to let Milroe watch the game play out

Simpson is a ty Simpson recruit a 5 star. Russell is our future, or who knows maybe he'll be ready this year.

Being loyal and losing being loyal and winning is 2 different things. We might have been able to win 2 of those games if ty Simpson replaced milroe fact. Saban replaced hurts and we beat Georgia for the national championship. Saban cared about his best of winning the football game.
