With Post cracking the rotation I think Warriors can pass on Vuc. The main target should be 2nd option, preferably a real SG. Even tho Warriors passed up the opportunity for a great deal in the Summer, I think they should go for Zach Lavine even if it means giving up a pick(s). Schroder, Buddy, SloMo, GP2, Looney for Lavine makes the money work and gives the warriors enough cap space to fill out the remaining roster spots. Lavine is a huge upgrade over a Schroder. Moody/Lindy would be better than Buddy at this point. SloMo doesn’t play but we have PF depth with Gui. Post gives us a stretch big and we have TJD, two bigs make Looney expendable no matter how much we appreciate Looney. GP2 immediate defensive impact will be tough to replace, it will have to be done by committee but Gui brings some of the hustle.

@Commenting800 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

"what just happened?"
you got smacked by the Lakers, that's what happened

@PiotrKaszuba8403 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Wiggs was and is our guy, he brings it on. We can realy on him, forget about Jimmy and others.

@PiotrKaszuba8403 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Keeping it simply about Quentin, based on just last game: WOW! We got a real 2-way C, HALLELUJAH!

@username-hs3pc January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Build this team around Quinten Post. Why not?

@nixonandrew3834 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Andrew bogut had great chemistry with steph so im not sure why the organization is not trying to replicate that.

@PeakyBlindurzz January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

he has good vision and he’s decisive. He doesn’t hesitate to shoot if he has it. I like his confidence.

@elijahpikes9297 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Dude just said steve kerr a genius started three guards that game

@scottzimmerle6990 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

The Warriors should just draft a big man in the second round every year.

@slavapiver4278 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Alch, you need a job in the warriors front office lol

@Troutstar January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Warriors cucks all over this 😂

@143Hoops January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Gui Santos has been on a burner these last two games.

@nbisuave3933 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Moses always plays hard

@kpbassy January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Stop trying to make stretch players. GP2 at the four doesn’t work.

@maaldagod8468 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

I’m happy for the warriors . Kerr is rebuilding around the team he has and he’s figuring it out . If he could give post the minutes he gives trayce it would be a great scoring night for the team

@ElbowJames January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Holy smokes my brain doesn’t hurt after listening to this man. This was a pleasure to listen to bud thank you for keeping it positive, calm, and thoughtful.

@stefanaddison7720 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

IT DRIVES ME CRAZY THAT YOU KEEPING KERR CREDIT ,KERR IS THE PROBLEM , FAITH CAUSED THESE LINEUP TO ACCURE. NOT KERR.

@stefanaddison7720 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

You need help if you think this has anthing to do with kerr.

@joelzjam January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Regarding previous stretch 5s on the team – Mo Buckets

@prOGamer-ul5zc January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

I’m excited about Post, but it’s one game.

@Tracktracl January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

I feel like we could combo Post and TJD on matchups. Those nights where we see those quick bouncy guys Trayce takes up a chunk of those minutes while nights that we see more slower fluid bigs Post can take up a chunk of those minutes. Best part about this is Gui fits with both. If we could move Dennis, GP2, & Loon and get Lonzo and Patrick Willis I’m looking at us a lot differently.

@sportmemer3178 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

No.
No.
No.

You can't give credit to Steve Kerr for taking too long to give a chance to OUR players, that WE drafted when the players we traded for that are complete garbagio are getting limitless opportunities.

That's not genius.

@TheeRobertPhoenix January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

This is a new two timeline that is completely unexpected.

@pawelprzytarski340 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

And more mooooodey👍

@RockstarxQ January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Literally been saying this since day 1.

@michaelpratt1295 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Wiggs getting downhill and playing bigger players has changed the team. GUI and Post can play and the need more floor time to develop cause we need to start getting away from playing Dray so much in this stage of his career. He’s been playing a little lazy when he gets fatigued. Add in a Vuchvic trade to split minutes with Post. Then the cherry on top, a heathy Kuminga to go along with Wiggs. He completes the team by giving us another slasher with the size and the athleticism to be productive in the paint.

One trade and a tweak in philosophy would give this team the potential to get dangerous in time for playoffs.

@Ra2sul January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

i’m begging for a 5 guard lineup (pods/pat, curry, dennis, lindy, buddy)đŸ˜ĢđŸ˜ĢđŸ˜Ģâ€Ļ.switchable and have curry be our starting center stretch 5

@MegaMango00 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Let Draymond rest until next season

@iinarrab19 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

let's jump on it after a good sample size. we've seen Wiseman and Baldwin Jr with one kind of these games lol

@gregyost9676 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Fire Kerr!!!!!!!

@Tronicafam January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

And we would be a sub 500 team, Kerr stumbled into this because his scheme is bad and he don't know what else to do…if he was to devdlopnthese players and let them play we would be in a better spot….just look at OKC, Houston…Dray, Looney and Steph just expend too much energy fighting againt the bigger and younger players….we need to play youth more and rely on vets to close and use them strategically. Kerr don't know how to do it. Mark Jackson did and that is why Steph and Klay gained confidence early in their careers.

@bogusphone8000 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

As great as Post played, the underlying seismic shift is returning to a taller lineup.

As others have correctly pointed out, Kerr started the game with the small ball lineup. As expected, it failed miserably.

Charles Barkley called out this obvious outcome years ago when he said "You can't out run the Warriors. I would go big and punish them."

Mid first quarter, Kerr was forced to abandon ship and brought youth, size, and most importantly proper placement to the floor.

With this lineup, the mad scramble to help and recover on defense was minimized and the flow of the Warriors game smoothed out.

If we go back and look at the dynasty years, there was very little small ball. Bogut, Festus, West, Lee, and others were always in the lineup and critical to their success.

Hopefully Kerr will see the light. However, history is against Kerr, especially with his "how many minutes are left" comment.

@jamarnabors9393 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Steve is not no genius he needs to go

@jayo4282 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

I didn’t understand why Podz was catching so much heat.- The entire squad was lumbering through the season, and the game you’re talking abt all of a sudden was SHARP

@jayo4282 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

It’s hilariously ironic that part of Steph’s origin involved established coaches only playing established (non rookie) pieces, and now OG vet Steph has been victimized by not allowing these rookies to really impact the team over time

@jayo4282 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

The question is will this sustain. I been wanting to address this very issue- the Warriors need for a consistently better than decent big to really make noise this season

@Marcus_C51 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Hey man-first time I've seen your channel-instant sub! It was a real pleasure to hear your knowledgeable take on Post! I only saw the highlights of the Bulls game and woah, that second half was a thing of beauty! Post really looks good out there, draining all of those 3's didn't hurt either! Loved seeing Steph smile-yes!! You're right, he's setting screens and looks like he is comfortable out there and as Kerr said isn't afraid to mix it up! As you said a "grown ass man!" No doubt!

@vinh1diesel January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

This game gave us hope and it was such a boost of confidence. Our main concern would be rotations. If Steve fails to make the right rotations i.e. keep on playing small ball do you think we should move off of him?

@Broodjemetbeleg January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Lets get these lakers, hopefully we can confuse them with pick and pops all night lol.

@allen-bg1yk January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Steve Kerr will probably mess it up, He will bench Gui and Post for the rest of the season😆. I hope not, it was refreshing to see the warriors play 2 stretch bigs, please keep Gui and Post in the rotation.

@tonybayarea January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Warriors should just rock out with Santos and Post and do rite by Draymond and trade him back to his hometown team (Detroit Pistons). Get some young and athletic players back in return from the Pistons for Draymond. They already broke up the Splash Bro's and sent Klay Thompson packing. Take off the band aide and trade Draymond too.

@tonybayarea January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Chicago Bulls tried trading Zach Lavine to the Warriors before the season started. Lavine to Golden State for Andrew Wiggins and Chris Paul to Chicago Bulls. Warriors turned the deal down and then waived Chris Paul who ended up signing with the San Antonio Spurs over the summer.

@Tommy_mri January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Purdy is ass

@Ahilliard44 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

He doesn't have to be anything special…..he needs to be the option available when teams try to blitz and double. You involve him in the action, teams can't double, Steph gets his switch or the space he needs to go down hill. That's literally all the stretch 5 needs to do in a Curry type offense. Just pull the trap off Curry and everything will flow properly again! It can be accomplished with Wings that can shoot a good clip from 3 but with a stretch 5 it's even more valuable because now you pulling the other teams 5 out the pain! It's so very simple yet it will be so very effective. I know stretch 5s are already valuable but Post and teh Warriors situation is going to make it very clear. You don't need an all star stretch 5. You need one that shoots above 40% from 3 and is willing to let it fly! The plus side is that Post can move laterali better than any big i've seen in quite a while and he will fill out once he's been in the league a few years. The upside on this guy is crazy. Warriors future looking real bright! Think about it, Podz, Moody, Jk , Trayce and Post. Already got the starting lineup of the future!

@keplarfps January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

We know he's going to have bad games but we have to stick with this guy, not only the front office and coaching staff, but us as fans as well.

@Ahilliard44 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

there was one play where i went…damn this guy is legit. Warriors were defending and Curry was defending ball. Post slide from the elbow down shut off the base line drive before the attacking player could take 2 steps……Dude can move side to side like a guard i swear! He has the foot skills of a guard!

@Ahilliard44 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

hope can tend to reinvigorate anybody. When you feel you are against the wall and then someone reaches out a hand and helps you, you see the light at the other side!

@andrewsp2mail January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

I watched that game again and again! It was the most fun Dubs game in a couple of years.

@williamhubby6460 January 27, 2025 - 12:13 pm

Kerr didn’t do shit! Injuries put Post and GUI in.
This take is so soft. Ooh we beat the Bulls, wow. Kerr gets no credit.
