People are paying thousands of dollars for players that have done nothing!! These same cards will be in the bargain box in a few years for a few dollars!! These people are playing the lottery and most of them will lose big time!!

Honest question. How many of these cards actually end up in the hands of a collector? How many people at a show like this are dropping $100k to add a single card to their PC? I get the sense that most of these cards simply change hands between dealers or in the hands of an investor who is looking to flip it at some point for a profit....probably to another investor.

Id like to know who came up with those ridiculous prices on those cards when you can buy a new vehicle or a good down payment on a house. Five figures on a auto card. All those dealers will be bringing those cards home to collect dust. They'll never sell them unless they put them up on heritage or Gouldin auctions

These cardboards are becoming like bitcoins, no more hobby anymore, people are just flipping them for money ONLY! Soon or later, this money only card industry will crash like hell
