It think they dropped the ball with VR it has potential but they must get rid of the hand held controller idea. We need to feel immersed in the game but just that. Up, down, left, right should be movements reserved for the head. Allowing the player to look up down and around the controller is used to move the character back forward side to side EASY. Options like Full screen 1person and 3person with the introduction of 4th person view. This would take gaming to the next level giving you more control of the game at the same time giving you that old school gameplay. I think 4th person view is going to change the way we experience high resolution worlds

Sony will win this. Xbox is like ford while Playstation is like Ferrari, as long as they keep their exclusivity and keep churning out the quality games they can retain their value while Xbox can try to go distribute more games but in doing so will go up against not only Google and Steam but every developer that will publish their own games which might lower their value.

Microsoft and Sony should just make everything available on all platforms. It will generate huge additional revenues to the 1st party developers to ensure game quality gets better as well as the hardware. Yes you need healthy competition but just get the games out there for all to enjoy.

Plain and simple MS has lost a lot of money over trying to compete with Sony and now is coming to the same fate as Sega. Before long they’ll be a game developer solely, because it’ll keep them making money, staying in gaming.

I would never get an Xbox that shit looks ugly. The remote looks ugly as hell the PlayStation remote in your hand. It feels like you’re wearing a leather glove. If it if it’s perfectly in your hands, I will never get the box one time my friend let me borrow one. I told him to get this piece of crap out of my house before I throw it out .

You are all reading way too much into this. He is primarily referring to Xbox becoming a cross-platform machine, and not every game coming to PS. Sure, MS will have more games on PS but it will be far from all. And Sony will have to sooner or later act in kind especially as their net realization declines and games costs increase more and more, while attachment numbers decline for the console with its first-party games. Out of the two, Sony is the one that needs to find growth now and not be stuck in what best is a static market and relying less than before. The PS5 is not going to even meet last gen numbers. Meanwhile music has surpassed gaming as the net generator and has strong growth potential. It is where Sony actually spending most of those billions they set aside for acquisition and partnerships, not gaming. As for MS the company is playing a longer gaming over the immediate importance of driving net growth immediately. It also part of other plans to expand the content they own.

I would also like to point out more games (not all but more) being multi-plat (especially on a competing platform) also gives MS a strong backwind when it comes to making another big buy. With a more open strategy to a growing amount of their content what can others like Sony argue against? Whereas Sony's solely exclusive model currently leaves it less likely to get anything of substance through regulators at this point. This is especially true in markets where Sony dominates in monopoly numbers. Remember it was Sony that carved out the market (high-end consoles) that only contains PS and Xbox as competitors as they tried to argue the damage a COD be held back from PS would cause. Not thinking that it also means that Sony had a monopoly of said market with over 70% of that high-end console market.

Xbox is a Microsoft product. If the PS games are available on PC because most gamers don't use Linux but instead use the Microsoft OS, by default it will be acceesble on XBOX, FYI gamepass has been around for nearly 10 years now. You might want to do your research before you post.
