Caleb Williams, the franchise quarterback of the Chicago Bears, is reportedly pushing for the team to hire either Ben Johnson or Kliff Kingsbury as their next head coach. With the Bears in need of a leader who can help develop Williams into a superstar, Caleb believes both of these candidates have the vision, expertise, and leadership to take Chicago’s offense to the next level.
Ben Johnson: After the Detroit Lions’ playoff loss to the Commanders, the Bears are set to interview Johnson this week. As the architect of Detroit’s high-octane offense, Johnson has proven his ability to build a dynamic and explosive system while developing young quarterbacks. His innovative approach, along with a deep understanding of offensive football, would help unlock Caleb Williams’ full potential. Johnson’s ability to adapt his offense to the strengths of his quarterback and his focus on creating balance and efficiency would be a perfect fit for the Bears’ future with Williams under center.
Kliff Kingsbury: The Bears are also considering Kliff Kingsbury, a coach with a personal connection to Caleb Williams from their time together at USC. Kingsbury, who previously served as head coach of the Arizona Cardinals, brings valuable experience and a proven track record of working with quarterbacks like Kyler Murray. Kingsbury’s up-tempo, pass-heavy offense and deep understanding of QB development would pair well with Williams’ skill set. His familiarity with Caleb, combined with his leadership experience in the NFL, could help bring stability and direction to the Bears as they look to rebuild their franchise around their young QB.
Why Caleb Williams Needs Ben Johnson or Kliff Kingsbury as Head Coach:
Ben Johnson has the offensive mind and adaptability to maximize Williams’ talents, with a system built to showcase Caleb’s mobility, arm strength, and decision-making ability.
Kliff Kingsbury offers familiarity and experience with Williams from USC, along with an offensive style that would allow Williams to thrive in a fast-paced, pass-heavy system.
The Chicago Bears’ search for a head coach is critical to their success, and Caleb Williams is making it clear that he wants a coach who can develop his game and lead the team to success. Stay tuned for updates on the Bears’ interviews with Ben Johnson and Kliff Kingsbury as they look to reshape the future of the franchise.

Many of his stats came in garbage time when the Bears were already getting demolished.
Respectfully, he doesn’t have the credentials to speak on this at all. I’m still not sold on him at all.
He’s not Aaron Rodgers or Brett Favre in their prime.
This organization needs to select the best head coach for the ENTIRE team.
