I decided to go to the first ever Lucky’s Sports Card Show at the County Center in White Plains, NY. As expected, the entire floor was filled with some great vintage sports cards. A real variety as well. A lot of these bigger sports card shows bring out dealers you normally wouldn’t see at some of the smaller shows. It was great!
Made a few pickups which I will either share in my Start of The Week Video or my Day 2 Video, which will be released tomorrow night. I will be returning back tomorrow! Can’t wait to see some familiar faces in the community!

Big John loves that spot in the front…….
The talk of tight skinny rows to walk in and look at cards in a big turn-off. Thanks for insight. This reminds me why I pass on the national card show in Chicago at Stephen center in Rosemount
Hi Sammy, thanks for taking us along. Looks like a great show. What did you pick up.
Oh to be at a card show with Hobby Hero, Sammy Thunder again.
Alas, it could be years 😭
Great tour of the show Sammy! Looks like there was a really great selection of vintage to choose from!
Great footage Sammy! Looks like a great show! I was very excited to see those Charlie Brown cards toward the end! Don’t see those very often and are some of the few non-sports cards that I would add to my collection. Thanks for the video!
Big show! The last dealer with the incredible Lincoln collection and non sports was fun to see. Thanks!
John Goodman right there at the beginning. The man that I bought my first ever T206's from!
Great tour of the show, Sammy! I saw 3 cards in the first minute that are in my top 5 to look for at the next show I go to. Totally awesome.
Thanks for showing. Saw the 70T Super which is crazy the size of plastic. Will be up there in August. Looking to get the 60T Mantle. Cant wait!!
Always like your vids … Very Real … Very Personal. THANKS⚾The Hobby is ALMOST getting too precise to be fun, but I will always love the RIP!
Awesome show footage, thanks for sharing
So many awesome cards. Videos like this has me itching to go to a big show!
Thanks for the tour, Sammy! There was some amazing vintage at the show!!!
Great footage as always Sammy. Looks like a blast. Some great non traditional stuff in there for sure
Good stuff Sammy. Seems like the first display case had some '34 Gold Medal's. I hope to find a nice Dizzy Dean at the National this year. Anyway, I felt like I needed a steak at around 4:15. "Roll that awesome card show footage."
Thanks for taking us along to the card show Sammy!! Your footage of these awesome vintage cards is incredible!! So many amazing vintage treasures!! How did you see the prices on these cards doing compared to other recent shows? How much of this show was made up of vintage cards? Did you find any treasures to add to your collection?
No wonder that one guy had 50% off marked prices for raw cards. From the ones I was able to catch, the marked prices were pretty much absurd. 50% off gets you barely to a reasonable level. I have some of those 1957-58 basketball, and the market values are nowhere near the sticker prices. On the other hand, 12 grand for the BBCE Fleer 1987-88 basketball wax box is reasonable, if expensive. People who just focus on rookies have no idea how scarce those packs are compared to the seasons on either side of them. I'm surprised some of the pre-1970 nonsport was that high, wow. Thanks for another fascinating stroll!
Some great stuff today. I just wish a football collector was filming. Nobody buys baseball. Just kidding.
Hi Sammy,
Thanks for your coverage of the White Plains card show. What a wonderful amount of vintage cards of almost everything. I saw some 1957 Topps Baseball that made me salivate!
Sammy, you do such a great job of your camera work with wonderful pacing.
Take care and have a great weekend! Best Wishes,
Peter
Hi Sammy. Love the footage my friend, thanks for sharing pal.
@10:43 $12,000 for the '87-88. Hobby box Fleer. Interesting. Anyway awesome footage Sammy. Looks like a great show
