I wanted Pete Carol for Dallas cowboys bad because he is a real coach on and off the field,he cares about his players genuinely look at tapes,he anit just on the side line standing there,he congratulates every player! I aint seen a coach like that in years! Realtalk 💯 prime is just for fame there it just doesn't resonate with me,these young players need discipline like a father figure race has nothing to do with it! I think Brady has a good idea. If we get the right pieces HC, OC, DC, top QB and players, GM . If Brady got them in the door way for the interview Raider Nation won't mess it up. One piece at a time. We messed it up last time when Mark Davis brought in McDaniel's and Ziegler right away Raider Nation wanted them fired. That was Raider Nation biggest mistake. McDaniel's, along with General Manager Dave Ziegler, were fired from the Raiders on October 31, 2023, after a 3–5 start to the season, while Garoppolo was benched for the rest of the season in favor of rookie Aidan O'Connell. AP came starting Aiden going 5-4 record. Raiders record was 8-9. Second behind Chiefs.If we Raiders would of not fired McDaniel's and Ziegler Raiders would of been 4- 13 record Six quarterbacks were selected in the first round—Caleb Williams, Jayden Daniels, Drake Maye, Michael Penix Jr., J. J. McCarthy, and Bo Nix. RD PICK PLAYER 1 3 Drake Maye North Carolina · QB Patriots select Raiders would of had next pick. Probably Penix Jr. or JJ McCarthy or Bo Nix. Even if Mark Davis fired McDaniel's and Ziegler . If AP started Garoppolo went 4-13 we get the same pick. AP would of had to start Garoppolo to get that 4-13 record. But you see my point Raiders can't win meaningless games to get that high draft pick. So Raider Nation can't get upset over Raiders who they pick has GM, HC, OC, DC, top QB and players, so let Brady set it up we have to do our part live or die with Brady choices. We can't play Aiden in meaningless games that kills our draft status

Go watch Jaxson Dart Ole Miss games & if you dont think he has all the tools and arm talent with a good QB room & minimum half of season on bench -- He could be a dark horse to be a really good NFL QB ....I feel he along with Ward are the only 2 I would draft maybe late on Milroe sitting for 2-3 yrs

Keep in mind, Ben Johnson is a run first offensive mind. Pass is established off of the run. If he has a qb who is a game manager (aoc), he would be content. AOC I felt was done wrong this year by Pierce. He’s not a long term option, but he was the only one who looked like a capable quarterback and gave us a chance

The Raiders not having a QB is a media talking point.

When you have a 2nd year guy who's never played a full season throw for 340 yards and 2 TD's against the Champion Chiefs ( who are a division rival) in O'Connell; who's the same proto type as Jared Goff for Ben Johnson...You have something to work with and you can draft and develop a guy on top of that.

The QB situation is bad according to the media. You get rid of Minshew and draft a guy and you have a QB in O'Connell that can finish somewhere between 10 and 15th amongst QBs in a full healthy season. Maybe better because of Johnson.

Thats what eye balls and logic say. Not the media or people who don't watch Raider games.

Im a Chargers fan but have Raider family members, I have to be honest if the Raiders want to stabilize Pete would be the guy. 5 years of Pete building a foundation will make them a winner longer term, but they are the Raiderrs so the quick fix is in their DNA ...

73 is 73. Do not care if Pete can do backflips from one end zone to the other. Tom will want to build through the draft. That is Spytek(former U of Michigan grad) specialty. Tom will also want to bring in a few high profile free agents. Ben Johnson who knows. We have all seen most Coordinators fail when they become HC. Pete is a quick fix through free agency. That is not Spytek specialty.

Brady and Spytek were both at Michigan in 1999. It was Brady's last year and Spytek first year. I live in the Tampa Bay area and very familiar with Spytek. He is a college football talent expert. Works under Jason Licht who builds through the draft. Then pops up the second week of free agency and gets the second and third tier players at reduced cost. Spytek fits better with Ben Johnson. Ben is younger and can wait a few years to get a solid draft base players under him. Whereas Pete Carroll will want to hit free agency hard. I think that is a waste of Spytek's building through the draft structure.
