“Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown is far and away the most ambitious driving game that developer KT Racing has ever put together, but it’s plagued with problems. Forced online requirements that feel needlessly punitive towards solo players, inconsistent and non-adjustable AI difficulty levels, a stale car list, and chore-like progression all conspire to undermine an otherwise robust driving model and eye-catching open world. The former home of the WRC series has come out swinging with Solar Crown, but unfortunately the studio may have flown a little too close to the sun.”

this is sad yo i was thinking you can now walk around with a full avi to go clothes shopping and to buy cars plus go to the casino they took all that away plus it got no single player mode

This game is an insult to the Playstation 5. Solar Crown looks like a Playstation 3 game and plays hopelessly bad.

Why dont they just do these game the "Forza" way? Operates it online and offline when the server shut just let the people chill with themselves. Online only doesnt make any sense and I have never seen any game that was rated so heavily bad on Steam (mostly negatives!)

Here’s the thing. What Riders Republic did with what they did was fun. Where you race against ghosts of real players and the progression of that was rad but I dunno if you could download said ghosts and play them offline. I’d be game for online shit like that. But this constant online Shit? It needs to stop.

I was under NDA for this garbage, knew from the first alpha it was a shit game & in the feedback I told them it was the laziest cash grab I've ever seen.

Well this reminds me of forza 5 a little because in that game you can actually play solo but when you do you will be meet by AI opponents which always drive cars that almost always doesn’t fit with the terrain you drive on like a Bugatti on offroad or a buggy on the highway

And problem number 2 is that the cars they add is… kinda boring from what I’ve seen it is often a 150 Hp sh$t box that anyone can afford like I don’t play forza because I can’t afford a Toyota Corolla I play it because I can’t afford a Porsche 911 or 918

Doh should have researched this more when thinking a good idea to get it cheap key to fill the time that i was wasting trying to get fs2024 to work after feeling it from getting the aviator edition and so far shafted on that, bad day of gaming choices.
