americans of xbox cant force Japanese, Korean, Chinese, or any Asian devs to have their games on xbox consoles or gamepass. if those devs don't want to have their games on american xbox then they don't have to. thats just the way Asian countries are so everyone in america & some western countries needs to get use to that because that's just the way life is. the only real way to play all these Asian games is to get either a Japanese PlayStation or nintendo console or either a pc. that's all to it there's literally no other way around this. also Japanese/Asian games don't even sell good at all on xbox consoles so that's another reason of the many reasons why their games are always skipping xbox ever since probably 2001. trust me Asian devs will always choose PlayStation & Nintendo over xbox every time its time for everyone to accept this fact. this is never going to change

This Black Myth Wukong situation is one of the best case example to show how ones bias/affinity to anything can impact their judgment when it comes to that said thing. There are multiple games that have released both xbox & PS at launch with poor to terrible performance over the past few years, and everyone has unanimously blamed & bashed the devs/publishers for that. There are lots of examples, but the clearest one for me is Cyberpunk 2077, as I personally think it was arguably more anticipated than BMW. It launched poorly on last gen in December 2020 and improved gradually, but even when it later arrived on current gen ( including the series S), there were initial issues that took a few patches/ updates to make it better. At the time, I thought CD projekt red would stop to exist because even though people thought the underlying game was good, everyone unanimously agreed they did a terrible job at optimization. Now BMW was initially advertised to launch on all platforms, and during all that development time, they never mentioned their challenges with the series S to the public but waited until after launch on PC and PS. Now fanboyism j can understand, but media narrative to bash the series S and give the devs a free pass I couldn't comprehend. The game was great, but any honest person can see that the game was poorly optimized on PC & PS. Even now, when the purported statement from the devs is literally saying yes the series S has challenges, but the game is not on Xbox because of our skill issues, the narrative is still blame the series S. Hence, the Xbox tax.

Here's Jez Corden's original quote. "We’re excited for the launch of Black Myth Wukong on Xbox Series X|S and are working with Game Science to bring the game to our platforms. We can't comment on the deals made by our partners with other platform holders, but we remain focused on making Xbox the best platform for gamers, and great games are at the center of that." If there was a deal then why would Microsoft need to be working with Game Science to bring the game to their platforms? The game would simply come to the XBOX at the purported deal's expiration with Microsoft not having to lift a finger.

Microsoft cant step it up. They only care about xbox tv, xbox mobile phones, xbox laptop, xbox pc, xbox cloud gaming and xbox handheld.

It seems Microsoft dont care about xbox consoles anymore due to low sales of xbox hardware.

They could have easily said this game is a Playstation exclusive. That would have cleared things up. In our bad economy here in South Africa, that console makes sense. But devs will do EVERYTHING to screw Xbox (short of outright admitting that money changed hands as usual - to keep a game off the Xbox). Now they have an excellent scapegoat in the Series S.

Microsoft need to start suing these companies every time they want to make a game exclusive to Sony platform that way that would teach them a lesson and that will make them lose money at the same time they thinking they get money from Sony that money to be getting from Sony Microsoft Studio and they will have to get that money that they getting from Sony to make their game exclusive pay Microsoft for suing them

If I was Microsoft every time Sony wants to pay for exclusive game to go in your system I was sued the company that wants to go ahead and take the money from Sony to make the game exclusive so that will make them learn to stop making games exclusive for Sony so every time Sony pay a company to make their games exclusive to their platform Microsoft should sue that company and that was straightening everything out

As someone who watched the game as it came out I would have loved to play it but at this point they wont get my business now which that's their loss. Just saying it could have been bigger with a complete release for xbox pc and Playstation

There was no exclusive deal. The idea that Sony wouldn't advertise this game as a console exclusive is unbelievable. They could cate less what some fanboys think. It is not confusing. Microsoft is lying. Or rather they are stretching semantics to their limit.

GS are not master devs. They can't rearly get a PS5 version running and they probably had help from Sony. I have zero faith that they could get this to un acceptablely on the S. No way not a chance.

Also the BG3 issues was never resolved on series S. Splitscreen Co OP was removed so it can release on the series S
